1. Mark Smith
In our short film my job is to act, I will be playing the role of Ben one of the main characters in the
film. My job role consists of acting out my parts in the script. I will constantly be interacting with the
director who will be telling me what parts of the film I will be acting out, what I’m supposed to be
doing, where I should be and how I can improve on what I’m doing. I will also be interacting with the
two other actors/actresses as we act out the film.
My second role is to edit the film; i will be putting together the clips so they run in a full clean
sequence. I will also be adding certain effects to certain clips to add a dramatic edge to the film. All
of the other members group will be doing their own edit so we will all come out with very different
variations of the short film
My tired role in the film is to be a production runner. When I’m not on set acting I will be used as a
production runner, catering for the needs of the other members in the group. I will also be sharing
this role with Emily.
The other members of the group have the roles of:

Jenny Strand – Director
Becky Doyle – Camera Crew

2. Mark Smith
Emily and Jordan will be doing the same as me playing a character in the short film. They will both be
following orders from Jenny as she knows how everything has to be acted out.
Jenny has the job of director and it is her job to make sure everything runs smoothly on set. She will
be ordering people about and telling them what to do. Jenny’s main job is to make sure that
everything gets filmed.
Becky has the job of filming; she will be following orders from Jenny and making sure that she
records everything that needs to be recorded.
