French dressmaker who
revolutionized fashion and the world
of haute couture.
• Her informal and comfortable line
freed the female body of corsets and
expressed the aspirations of freedom
and equality of the woman of the
twentieth century.

• She became the great lady of French
fashion, her influence would extend
beyond the world of fashion, from the
haircut to perfumes, through shoes
and accessories.
• Chanel became a symbol of modern,
active and liberated women. And the
image of Chanel herself was admired
and imitated by millions of women.

• They delivered her to a house of nuns,
where she learned to sew. Two years
later, she started singing in a cabaret.
• She moved to Paris and thanks to the
contribution of her lovers,
she opened her first store "Modas
Chanel".
