在國際電信聯盟-無線電通訊部門(ITU-R)指定一組用於4G標準的要求, 命名為IMT-Advanced規範.
現在, 第五代被正式命名為IMT-2020.
IMT家族堪稱人丁興旺, 代有英才XDD.

11. China Full Spectrum Access for 5G
In China, 5G Technology R&D Trial will be firstly implemented on 3.4–3.6 GHz, and the early 5G
commercial network will be deployed at low frequency.
The 5G specifications supporting standalone new RAT at low frequency should be completed
before the middle of 2018, to meet commercial requirements in 2020.

The events kicked off with the 2016 Taipei 5G Summit on 15th March.
A collaboration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Ministry of Education (MOE),
Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Association of Information and Communication Standards (TAICS).
International speakers presented and discussed the global 5G status and challenges.
