Allroad Parts
3–4. In your own words, summarize AllRoad Parts' competitive strategy.
– AllRoad Parts competitive advantage seems to be that this company is the business that makes
sure it has an inventory or a wide range of merchandise that is large enough of a selection that when
a customer is looking for a specific item or part they should carry it in stock making it a convenient
place to shop.
3–5 Summarize the advantages and disadvantages for AllRoad parts to sell items via Amazon.com.
Would you recommend the company to do so?
– An advantage of selling through amazon.com might be that Amazon gains a wide range of its
customers from all over the whole world. If AllRoad Parts uses them they would gain access to all
of Amazon customers and opportunities ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
FBA helps to save money in areas of inventory and employment for the company that is using them,
which allows them to take their saved profits and use it elsewhere within the company. It helps with
storing and reassurance of quality shipping. I believe by them going through Amazon it allows for
customers to see them as a quality product and from areas all over the world. This allows them to be
able to gain business and promote their products to all over the country. Saving time in all of the
areas that Amazon eliminated allows the company to target their focus on expanding the company
and the creativity of the business. FBA helps to bring time and savings to a company which allows
for the company to focus on weak points to correct to become most successful.
3–11 How, if at all, would your answers to questions 3–4 through 3–10 change if AllRoad Parts
make some of its parts using 3D printing?
– When examining the answers from 3–4 and 3–10 I do not think it my answers would change the
fact that FBA would still save time and money in areas, even if it is not all areas of business at least
it would be some type of savings. I have always learned that even the smallest savings are the
awesome thing we should dive into. It still helps to reduce costs on packaging, warehouse storing,
and the major savings is on information systems as well as

Math And Medicine : Math, Medicine
Math and Medicine What some of us don't know is that math has a lot to do with everything we do,
it is essential to our daily life. We use mathematics every day from buying a car, or the amount of
pie to make for thanksgiving depending on how many family members coming. All of these basic
things contributes to how we use math daily. Some of us don't realize the importance of math, and
how it's a necessity that helps us more than we know. When it comes to people that are trying to lose
weight or their just trying to watch what they consume regularly. One main thing people don't
normally notice while on a doctor's visit is that, when checking their weights, heights and etc,
doctors uses those factor in order to write patient's prescriptions. They use math to determine the
amount of dosage of the medication to prescribe to you. Mathematics is an essential and vital
element that will all need to do and understand to its complexity. Mathematics is used in medicine
from calculating a patient 's BMI which is the (body mass index), screening of a CAT scan and also
making sure they write the correct amount of prescription to patients so that they don't overdose on
their medication. Areas of medicine where mathematics is used more often are within writing
prescriptions, calculating BMI (body mass index), and looking at screenings of a CAT scans. We all
know that all medications comes with a specific instruction on the amount of dosage a person can

The world record small mouth weighed 11 pounds and 15...
The world record small mouth weighed 11 pounds and 15 ounces. Was 27 inches long and 21 2/3
inches in girth. Most smallmouth range from 10 inches up to 20. Bass over 20 inches are rare but a
lot of fun to catch. A good healthy temperature for small mouth is between 68 and 80 degrees
Fahrenheit. Normally bass live between 6 to 14 years, but with perfect conditions a bass can live up
to 20 years. Small mouth like to create nests with their tails in 3 to 8 feet of water, with sand and
small gravel for a bottom. The male will create and guard the nest. After mating the female is
evicted and goes on to possibly mate with other males. The male will watch after the nest and babies
(minnows) for two weeks, then they all split up. Smallies ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Smallmouths have both external fertilization and external development. Feeding for smallmouth
tops when the temperature is around 78 degrees and starts to slow down once the temperature goes
below 40 degrees. The male always guards the eggs and the babies which are known as fry. The
spawning usually occurs in April or May unless the temperature stays cold than it can be delayed.
The first person to describe a smallmouth bass was Lacepede is 1802. The fry hatch out of their eggs
in about a week and then continue to develop for another week. Young smallmouths are fed upon by
yellow perch, Northern pike or muskellunge. Bigger bass are only eaten by northern pike, musky but
the main predators of smallmouth bass are humans. The lifespan in the wild is normally about seven
years, but some will live up to 20 years. In captivity the average age is ten years. When the young
hatch out of their eggs they are about 0.2 inches long, very easy prey for a variety of animals.
Multiple females will spawn in the nest of one male and an individual female will spawn in more
than one. Smallmouth dance and bite each other, this is their mating ritual. In New York the record
smallmouth was 8 pounds, 4 ounces caught out of Lake Erie on 6/4/1995 by Andrew C Kartesz.
Smallmouth bass are beginning to destroy Brooke trout fisheries and Atlantic salmon fisheries. The
meat of a smallmouth is very firm and good tasting so many people catch the fish not only for the

Personal Narrative: My Daughter In The Concrete...
Hi Dr. The other day, I was sitting with my two children, and I poured 6 ounces of apple juice into a
tall skinny glass for my daughter who was 9 years old and took another 6 ounces of apple juice and
poured it into a very short fat glass for my son who was 5 years old. My son screamed loudly in
protest because he was convinced that his sister had gotten more juice than he did. He pointed to the
tall glass and said her glass was bigger and she had more. I tried to explain that both glasses had the
same amount with no success. My daughter got tired of the loud protests and gave her brother her
glass and said, "here just drink mine." DOCTOR/NARRATOR: So, your daughter is 9 and she is in
the concrete operational stage of development. She

Drug Smoking And Drug Trafficking In The World
If I have another day like I did today, I'm going to scream until they take me away to the funny farm
and feed me meds twenty–four seven.
For ten years I've stuffed circuit boards at the High Cats International Corporation and at noon, a
thousand federal agents, which included, the FBI, ICE, Homeland Security, and local police, raided
the place and arrested the owner of High Cats and fifty high ranking employees. According to what I
overheard the Federal agents had confiscated 800 pounds of cocaine, 400 ounces of meth, 200
ounces of heroin, 9, 00 ounces of marijuana and a shit load of prescription pills. As well as, 560 high
powered rifles and over 600 thousand dollars, stuffed in paper bags. How was I to know that drug
trafficking and weapons smuggling were taking place, right under my nose? Needless to say, the
Feds padlocked the front door and now I'm jobless
When I arrived home, I found a note from my wife informing me, she had cleaned out both the
saving and checking accounts, and ran off with a travelling salesman, twenty minutes later the bank
foreclosed on the house and right after that the repo man drove away in my truck. With no money in
my wallet, I packed a duffle bag and found a park bench down by the river and spent the night.
Sometime around sunrise I felt a tug on my foot. When I opened my eyes there stood a man about
the age of my great grandfather, who resemble Gandalf the Gray or maybe Albus Dumbledore, but
not as elegant. Thou his white hair hung down to his waist, it lacked luster, his cloak appeared
tattered and his walking stick was nothing more than a broken branch from a nearby tree.
As I jumped to my feet he says, with an air of sincerity and a hint of genteelness, "Dear sir, I
apologize for startling you, but would it be an inconvenience upon you, if we share this park bench
for it's the only one that offers a hint of shade."
He had an air about him that lighten my heart, so I say, "Yes, please, of course, by all means, sit"
"Thank you," he graciously countered as he sat down, leaned back and slightly sighs.
I sit down and offer him a firm handshake, a heartfelt smile, and say, "Good morning, sir, I'm Fred
Johnson," "It is an honor to meet you, Fred Johnson," he said

Buoyancy: United States Customary Units and Water Ski...
Today most people think of ships as common every day tools that don't take much to understand.
One builds a hull and some little structuring later and bam you have a ship. But ship building is
much more than taking some metal and building a floating structure. It takes years of understanding
and research to build such a vessel. Mankind has been building ships for centuries but it was not
until the 17th century that Archimedes, a great Greek Mathmatitions, ideas were used and studied
closely. Today no one would even think of building a ship without using some type of calculations
or a computer to draft out a design. The same principles used in the dynamics of ship building are
used in the manufacturing of kneeboards, water skis and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

One way is called a beach start and the first thing a person should do to perform this type of start
would be to strap themselves to the board. The boat drives away from the beach you hold onto the
rope you're your knee boarding. The second way is the most used and I call it a deep water start. The
deep water start begins with me laying on the kneeboard with the strap to my side and holding the
rope out at the edge of the board. As the boat starts to pick up speed the kneeboard begins to lift up
higher out the water. This happens because the tilt of the board pushes on the water causing the
water to push back which gives the board its lift. While the boat is still speeding up I begin my
move up the board by pulling my knees up toward my chest. As I am pulling up my knees, I slowly
start to lean back on the board. This is to keep the right amount of lift while I am still getting up to
speed. Now that I have my knees in the knee slots I grab the strap and secure myself to the board so
I don't fall off. Once I am settled in on the board and have the boat running about 25 mph the
kneeboard and I have no problem with balance. Because of my new speed I can knee on the board
and not worry about fall over. The reason behind this is simple, speed, without moving across the
water kneeing down on the board was nearly impossible. Now that I am traveling across the water I
have the lift from the water and a small amount of drag. In

On slide 1 it look like the victim may have been strangled and on the right side of her face looks like
a burn mark. I'm not sure if it's a burn mark from a cigarette or possible a carpet burn. (But then
again a carpet burn would have been bigger). In slide one I have notice several red spots, I would
say that it's blood or just discoloration of the skin from no oxygen. But I think is may be another
clue or something that needs to be look at carefully also. I also noticed a yellowish brownish spot on
near the burn spot which at first I thought it could have been dirt or something, but as I look closer

Demonstrate How To Properly Fit For A Bra
Topic: Bra Fitting
Purpose: Demonstrate how to properly fit for a bra
Thesis Statement: Wearing the correct size bra maintains breast health and can improve your
appearance. Good Morning Ladies and Gents! As you may know, my name is Janell, and I am
pleased to talk with you about a topic that is near and dear to my heart: Bra Fitting! This may not
pertain to the gentlemen here today but it is useful information that you could pass along to the
women in your life. I have been working as bra fitter for the past six months with the company
called Macy's. Let me ask you a question: "On average, what percentage of women are wearing the
wrong size bra?" (Pause) According Wikipedia, 75–85% of women wear the wrong size. For the

For example, if you measured 31 inches, your band size should 32.If your measurement is already
an even number, this is almost always your band size, but you may need a smaller or larger size
depending on your body type.
* Measure your cup size. Measure completely around the fullest part of your bust. It the number
falls on a half inch, round up.
Now, Subtract your band size from your bust measurement Example: 34 inches (band) – 37 inches
(bust) = 3 inches difference. For every inch it's a cup size (i.e. on inch is an A cup, Two inches is a B
cup, etc...) making this cup size a C. We have now determined the size at being a 32C.
Before concluding my demonstration I would like review a couple things we have learned today.
We've learned there are a large percentage of women who are wearing the incorrect size bra. The
best way to cure this is to get fitted! It only takes a few minutes and there are many department
stores that offer the service free of charge. We have also learned that bra's should be comfortable and
feel as though you're not even wearing one. This again is achieved by being properly fitted. Fitting
yourself is easy and can be achieved with a couple of measurements and a little bit of math skills.
Just remember band size – bust size= cup size! This concludes my demonstration on bra fitting. I
want to say thank–you for listening and I appreciate your kind attention.

The United States Should Go From The Metric System
The debate on whether or not the United States should go to the metric system has been ongoing for
years and still to this day the United States uses the English System of Measurements. It includes the
inch, foot, yard and mile, along with many other units of measurement. The United States is one of
three countries that still use other systems of measurement instead of going metric. The other two
countries that have not adopted to using the metric system are Liberia and Burma, also known as
Myanmar.
The metric system is simply a unit of measure. It is used in medicine, science and engineering. This
system makes it easier to make conversions by moving the decimal either to the left or right. It also
has stability by using prefixes and each unit has only one value, regardless of what is being
measured or who is measuring. There are fewer measures to learn in the metric system than in the
English Customary System. Instead of having to remember that there are 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet
in a yard and 1760 yards in a mile, it would be much easier to multiply or divide a number by a
certain power of 10.
It would be much easier for the United States to communicate to the rest of the world by switching
to the metric system. Everything that is important to the future of our country and economy, such as
industry, science business and exports, is already using the metric system. Units in the English
system of measurements such as the foot and gallon are all based on the

She is exceptional she was my rock, she held my world together she is my Grandmother. My
Grandmother is not just my Grandmother; she is also my friend, my provider, and my savior
because without her I would have more than likely taken a very wrong path in life. There she stands,

one way from the small factory town of Warsaw, Indiana, to the college city of South Bend, Indiana,
every weekend to retrieve me. She would pack me in the front seat of the car, opening the door, the
familiar scent of grandma 's rose perfume mixed with her lemon air freshener greeted me like an old
friend. We headed off to the Kmart to buy my shoes, socks, underpants, and whatever else I may
have needed. My mother figured it was my father 's job to provide me with these items, but since it

unbelieveable strength, his incredible jumping ability, to accelerated healing.

We all know one of Hulks main powers is his incredible strength. Except for his grey incarnation,
The Hulk can lift 100 tons when calm. In this case, the madder The Hulk gets, the stronger he gets
caused by an extra surge. Do to his strength he is able to be resistant to other objects such as extreme
heat and cold, bullets, fire, grenades, artillery shells, concussive forces & such. During times of high
stress or anger, an increase in adrenaline causes the Hulk's strength to increase dramatically. There
has never been a limit shown as to the highest strength the Hulk can reach thus it is assumed it is

Anna Garcia Research Paper
Anna Garcia was found dead at 11:00 am on August 15, 2012, by neighbor Doug Green. The cause
of death is a very clear loss of blood at the head, by hitting her right temple on a table. There are a
few prime suspects. Also there were clues found at the crime scene, including an empty syringe,
pills– later found to be aspirin and orange juice, footprints leading to and away from the crime
scene. There was blood everywhere, on the table, syringe, juice cup, and near Annas head. The main
theorem we have developed, is that it was Erica but it was an accident. We think Erica came over
and got a little mad, pushed her a little. Anna was weak because she is in pain and had just taken
pain medication. That is why she had the syringe. She had the orange juice because she was taking it
with her aspirin. Anna fell harder than Erica expected, and she slammed her head on the table. Erica
didn't know what to do, so she fled the scene without cleaning up her tracks because she was
panicked and booked it out of there.
Summary of Findings Some evidence found at the crime scene of Anna Garcia included fingerprints
some bloody, and some regular. There was a large pool of blood above the victim's head, shoeprints,
empty syringe, broken aspirin pieces, bloody juice cup, empty syringe, vomit, spilled orange juice, a
knocked over table. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Fedex marketing Case Essay
Case 1: "Federal Express"
Company analysis – Does Courier Pak (CP) make sense for Fed Ex
FedEx's new product Courier Pak makes sense because of its' high profit margin and potential to
generate new volume. Out of the 3 services that Fed Ex provides, CP yields the highest profit
margin at 66% while Priority–One is at 55% and SAS is only at 27%. In addition to this, the
company believes that it will be able to boost up sale of CP from 1300 to 6000 packages per day.
This shows that CP is the most profitable and huge potential for growth.
Customer analysis – Who needs CP? How large is the market? Is CP an economically viable
product? Can FedEx do 6000 CPs a day?

Due to the fact that carrying capacity of the Falcons usually reached its maximum volume before it
reached the maximum load allowance, CP is definitely the solution to balance this volume to weight
ratio. With the estimation that 10–lb cargo took up about one cubic foot of space, CP's volume is
about 0.1 cubic foot while SAS and P1 is around 1.4cubic foot. The average daily package volume
for the week ended 5/7 for both SAS and P1 is 19,422 while CP is 1,304. This yielded a total of
27321.2 cubic feet which accounts for 85% of volume capacity. At 100% volume capacity will be
approximately 32,142 cubic feet which allows additional 4820.8 cubic feet to be filled with 48208
CP. This shows that it is definitely viable for Fed Ex to hit the goal of 6,000 CP a day without going
over its maximum volume capacity.
Competition – What is the competition for CP?
There is intense competition for the Fed Ex Courier Pack in the package delivery market. Airlines
by providing same day package service delivery are strongly represented in this market. The
strongest competition for CP would be the in the overnight delivery sector which are mainly the air
freight forwarders particularly, Emery who is a huge player in this segment of the market.
How should Fed Ex market CP? Which industries should Fed Ex focus on?

The minimum penalty was $1,100 per barrel, while the maximum was $3,000 per barrel. The total

argued that the rate should have been as high as $4,300 per barrel. If that were the case, then it
would be $21.07 billion. The settlement amount that was eventually paid was at a lower amount of

divide by two. So as the equations go, it would be $21.07 billion + $18.7 billion = $39.77 billion / 2
= $19.9 billion. The mid–range to the final amount of $18.7 billion, is $19.9 billion.
The price of the settlement at $18.7 billion was in fact too low. If you look at the number of people
and animals affected by the spill, it is justified asking for a higher amount from BP oil company.

The Metric System And Imperial System
The two main systems for the measurement are known as the Metric system and Imperial
system. The Imperial system is also known to be as British Imperial system, used in many parts of
the world in from 16th to the 19th century. Although the Metric system has gained popularity
nowadays, the Imperial system is still used by many countries, like the United Kingdom.
While working in these countries you may find difficulty in units. In Metric System we use gram as
a unit of measurement of mass and if you are told the mass in Pounds used by the Imperial system,
you will probably get confused.
In this article, we will explain the conversion of different units in pounds one by one. Before starting
the conversion there are few terms which are essential

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Sands Corporation was established in 1941 with an aim to manufacture range of parts for the
aircrafts, automotive and agriculture equipment ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Two locations were found to be appropriate for the plant, first is on Kimberly Street just a few
blocks away from the main plant. Second being located in Hampton, which is small town around
180miles from the main plant. The Executives of the company decided that they will eventually
require minimum of 75000 Square feet of floor space and 600 labors (300 Skilled, 150 Semi–
Skilled, 150 Unskilled) so as to operate efficiently. The estimated cost of the machinery and
equipment needed to manufacture the parts is around $2 Million and this requirement was met by
the government by equipping them with government owned equipment under a contract.
The two options have their own pros and con which as stated as follows 1) KIMBERLY
STREET: Two acres of land costing $50,000.  Situated near to the main plant.  Surplus labor
available.  Resale value of the land is high.  Rate of Electricity, gas and water is cheap.  Union
of labors.
2) HAMPTON: Ten acres of land costing $20,000.  Situated 180 miles away from the main
plant.  Scarcity of labor  Cheaper wages  Rate of Electricity, gas and water is comparatively
higher than Kimberly Street.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The company has to decide between the two locations based on their virtues, availability and higher
margin of profit.
OPTIONS AVAILABLE
There are two options for the establishment of the manufacturing plant. 1) Kimberly Street 2)
Hampton

Crime Scene Monologue
The victim laid in the upstairs bedroom, smeared with blood. Their limbs had been amputated
harshly, and a thin cut ran across the base of the woman's throat. I stood with a couple other officers
from my squad, examining the crime scene. We'd been called a few minutes earlier, when the
woman's neighbors found her. It looked like she had been dead for a couple days, with flies
beginning to swarm the body. The most disturbing part of the case wasn't the amputated body, but
the computer downstairs. Burned into the screen were the words 'you're next'. Those same words
were displayed on two other victim's computers, but the victims were all killed differently. One was
ripped apart with a chainsaw, another was asphyxiated and burned with sulfuric ... Show more

I realized I had zoned out again, and everyone was staring at me. I cleared my throat and said,
"Okay, thank you." The coroner nodded before heading back to the van that was supposed to escort
the body back to the local morgue for further inspection. I turned and walked back up to the house,
trying to compose myself. The flashbacks happened a lot. Not all of them were about my abusive
boyfriend (who I wanted to be an ex), Derek, but most of them were. Brett liked to get on my case
about them, but I never have told him anything and I was determined never to. I was afraid that if I
told anyone about Derek that he would come after me...and possibly kill me. He had made that
threat once before. "Jenny what is it?" I asked the moment I saw her at the computer. Her face was a
mixture of shock and wonder as she typed at her own laptop, which was connected to the fried
computer belonging to the victim. She barely acknowledged me when she spoke. "It's the same with
the other computers. Everything is fried so I cannot snoop to see what happened right before the
computer was shut down. Whoever our killer is, he is very smart with

Dead Man's Pockets
Have you ever had a time where you were trapped outside a window that was 11 story up on a ledge
the width of a foot? Well, I never had but this guy named tom from "Contents of the Dead Man's
Pockets" did. And the reason why he went out there in the first place was to get a piece of paper that
had 2 months' work on it. For tom, that's a long time because that day that tom went out was the day
he decided to detach his wife and stay home and work.
When tom decides to stay home and not go to the movies with his wife, I thought that was very sad.
Why would you detach your wife! when you go to a wedding you have to take an oath, saying "Wilt
thou love her, comfort her, honour, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others,
keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?"[1] It says right there, comforts her! You
know what that means? When she (or AKA your wife!) wants to go to the movie theater and ask you
if you want to come with her and you say I have to work. You're ... Show more content on

And he hopes that a pencil that only ways about 8 grams, can hold down a piece of paper. When the
piece of paper fly's out the window. I got really happy because who in the world stays home and
works instead od going to the movies with your wife. and it even said that he wanted to see the
movie but he had to finish this stupid paper that he will never turn in because it flows out the
window I don't know where. Let's hope the person that it decide to take the path that tom took.
The moral of this story is "Can life events cause us to change our priorities?" and the answer to this
is yes. All of Tom's life was change when he got stuck outside the window trying to get a piece of
paper. A piece of paper that had 2 months' work on it. After he gets in, he decides to go find his wife
and watch the movie with her. Which I thought was amazing after what happened to tom that

Metric System Benefits
Contention 1: Numerous Benefits
Assists Globalization If the US adopted the metric system, many businesses and industries would
benefit.
The United States is now the only industrialized country in the world that does not use the metric
system as its predominant system of measurement. Judge, that is 95% of the world's total
manufacturing business that uses a different, more precise, and better method than the one we use to
manufacture goods.
As a study from Cambridge University in 2015 states, if the US switched to the metric system,
thousands of new jobs would be created This is because the US workforce will be more prepared to
work in the international marketplace and industrial affairs with other countries would be much
stronger than what ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The metric system also avoids the use of multiple units for the same quantity; for instance, the inch
pound system's multiple units for volume include teaspoons, tablespoons, fluid ounces, etc.
Contention 2: Adoption of Metric System is Feasible Thinking metric won't be hard
Judge, the metric system is a very simple unit of measurement that is simple to understand because
it is easy to convert and easy to use.
Also, schools are already teaching the metric system along with the English system in day to day
classes. Aside from education, almost all, water bottles, thermometers, and food bags already
include metric measurements along side them.
Thinking metric is easy. For example, "thinking metric" for temperature means relating zero degrees
Celsius with the freezing point of water, 20 degrees Celsius with room temperature, 37 degrees
Celsius with body temperature, and 100 degrees Celsius with the boiling points of water.

The Treasure Within the Money Pit on Oak Island
The Treasure Within There is a mystery that brings together the Holy Grail, a band of pirates,
William Shakespeare, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This mystery is the Money Pit located on Oak
Island. People have thrown millions of life savings hoping to get their hands on the treasure in the
Oak Island Money Pit, and all have met with failure. This pit has withstood two centuries of people
trying to discover the treasure within. I am certain there is treasure located in the Money Pit on Oak
Island. Oak Island is located off the shores of Nova Scotia, along Canada's Atlantic Coast. It is one
of three–hundred and sixty islands around Mahone Bay. Rocks and sand skirt the perimeter of the
island while native forest and shrubbery cover most of its interior. It's about 200 meters from the
shore of Nova Scotia and is approximately 140 acres. The discovery of Oak Island's Money Pit
begins in the summer of 1795 when a teenager named Daniel McGinnis saw strange lights on an
island offshore from his parent's house. He noticed an odd circular depression roughly 13 ft. in
diameter on the island's forest floor (The Last Great N. page). He also saw that a good amount of
oak trees around the recession had been cut down. McGinnis decided to leave the island to ask for
the help of his two friends, John Smith and Anthony Vaughan. The next day, the three teenagers
began excitedly digging on the curious site. They were so excited because the unpopulated
wilderness of the region provided

Clydesdale Research Paper
Paige Burton March 1, 2018 Comp. Two 4th Hour Exemplification Clydesdale Have you ever
wondered what kind of a horse pulls the Budweiser cart? The answer is a breed called a Clydesdale.
This breed is one of the biggest horses that there is. They are only used to pull carts and they are the
best breed you can use to pull a cart. The Clydesdale breed is usually compared to the Percheron and
the Belgian Draft breeds. Though they are compared the Clydesdale is still by far the best cart
pulling horse (Blocksdorf n.p.). Clydesdale have a specific body type to them that make them ideal
for pulling a cart. These horses usually have short backs and are broad chested. The necks of this

Belgian horses have small heads and thick, muscular necks. They have short legs unlike the
Clydesdale, but have the leg feathering similar to the Clydesdale. The Belgians are usually
seventeen hands tall, so similar to the Clydesdale. The colors this breed is generally found in are
chestnut and roan (Graphiq n.p.). The Shire horse breed is also similar to the Clydesdale breed. It is
also a type of draft horse breed. One of the big differences is that the Shire horse breed stands
approximately 21.2 hands tall. This is basically towering over the Clydesdale, which is impressively
tall. The Shire horses have slightly arched necks, but not as arched as the Clydesdale. This neck
makes them less attractive when pulling a cart. The Shires also have large eyes and they are wide
chested. The Shire breed is usually seen in the colors of bay, black, chestnut, gray, and roan

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete: Advantages And Disadvantages...
Introduction: Autoclaved aerated concrete ("AAC") is currently one of the many building products
being touted as "green" or "environmentally friendly." AAC is not a new building material. is a
lightweight manufactured building stone. Comprised of all natural raw materials, AAC is used in a
wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential applications and has been in use in Europe for
over 70 years, the Middle East for the past 40 years, and South America and Australia for
approximately 20 years.1 According to one manufacturer, AAC now accounts for over 40% of all

AAC Reduces Additional Material Use and Minimizes Waste and Pollution: The ability of a product
to reduce material use, utilize recycled products, and avoid toxic emissions are key criteria in
determining whether a product qualifies as "green" or can be used in a sustainable manner.3
Autoclaved aerated concrete performs extremely well in these regards. 2. AAC Has High Thermal
Efficiency: Autoclaved aerated concrete is further considered a sustainable building product because
of its excellent isolating qualities resulting in increased energy efficiency. 3. AAC Reduces Noise
and Improves Internal Air Quality: AAC is also has the ability to reduce and absorb noise or to
improve or maintain internal air quality.10 Due to its millions of independent air cells, which dabble
sound transmission, AAC has excellent sound isolation and absorption qualities. 4. AAC Structures

Three Day Diet Analysis
Growing up I have always given my dad a hard time for his weight until about four years ago when
he pulled out his wedding tux and I tried it on and could not fit in it. I am currently six foot four
inches and weight approximately one hundred and fifty pounds so you can share my amazement
when I found out that I couldn't fit into my two hundred and fifty pound father's tux. My dad got
married when he was twenty two and I just turned twenty two, so I believe that it is about time to
start being more a wear of what I eat. Being that I am currently underweight, I haven't had to
discipline myself when it comes to eating too much. My ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My lunches will be foods that give me two ounces of grains, one cup of vegetables, and one cup of
dairy. My afternoon break is a perfect time for my afternoon snack that will consist of one ounce of
grain, a half cup of vegetables, a half cup of dairy, and two ounces of protein foods. My last meal of
the day should contain two ounces of grains, one cup of vegetables, one cup of fruits, and two
ounces of protein foods. Seeing the meal plans makes me feel like this diet is going to be something
I am able to do.
I am a very active person, I think this is a contributing factor for my weight problem, and a proper
diet like the meal plans provided by Super Tracker will give me the nutrients my body needs to drive
through my work days with less fatigue and exhaustion. For as long as I remember my work days
have consisted of my waking up, working, coming home and hitting the sack as soon as possible.
With a proper diet, I have hopes of not only having more energy for work, but also for after work
activities. There are so many things that I just cannot accomplish on my limited days off work. It
would be ideal if I could take care of stuff during the work week as well. I guess in order for me to
take care of things, I must first take care of myself by giving my body what it needs to be healthy
and strong.

Essay On The Prince
I was awoken and taken off the ship at dawn to meet my captor, but not before my uncle's guard
bound my wrists together with gold chains. They placed another gold band around my neck – as
customary for a disobedient slave in Vere. The stocky man from before, as well as his subordinate,
guided me off the ship personally – the regent's guard not too far behind. The layers of grime and
waste that had plagued my body were now gone. My hair however, hadn't returned to its former
glory. The once–coveted golden locks that used to lie at the base of my lower back now lie unkempt
on my shoulders. Thankfully, they hadn't cut it all off. Apparently, the crowned prince had a thing

The stocky man bowed and said something in what I could only assume was Akelion. My mind
suddenly raced with all the possible words he could've been saying. It was Auguste who was better
off in that subject, as he was the one to eventually ascend to the throne. I cursed myself in my home
language – but only after the words escaped my mouth did I remember where I was.
"He's got a foul mouth," a voice commented in Veretian. It was commanding, and a bit gravelly on
certain syllables. The voice said something again, but I admit the true meaning was lost on me.
"Come forward," he commanded. I wasn't graced with the opportunity to choose to obey or not,
because I was dragged by my arms to the foot of his throne, inches from his feet. Firm hands on my
shoulder pushed me to my knees. I tilted my head up, trying to maintain some regality from where I
knelt, eyes level with his stomach. I looked up and there he was.
The Crowned Prince of Akelios himself. My captor. His eyes scanned over me from top to bottom,
slowly, to assess his new prize. His eyes finally rested on my short, choppy blonde hair. His hand

actually being at a high elevation. In any of these scenarios people with alto–phobia (the fear of
heights) can often get dizzy, experience panic attacks, anxiety and a whole other host of things that
would endanger them in certain situations. Luckily, I am not one those people, because if I was,
either I wouldn't have a cool story to tell or I'd be dead right now.
This little escapade happened when I was around 7 to 8 years old, I'm not entirely sure the age but it
was definitely around that period. During that time in the area in which I lived there were these kids
who lived really close to me whom I used to muck around with during the summer or whenever.
This day in particular was one of those days. My childhood friend Jesiah; who was about two years
older than me, wanted to go on one of those adventures we used to go on all the time, so he grabbed
another kid (whose name I have forgotten) to come along with us. What we used to do was run
through other people's backyards, but it's way more interesting than it sounds, I promise. My house
was on a hill, so that the neighbors backyards behind us was almost entirely above my house. Many
of their yards had steep climbs, were sometimes very wild, and just fun to run around in and jump
from yard to yard. This time, however, we didn't just go into the usual yards we'd go in. For some
reason we decided to go one block up and come down to a certain yard that was two houses down,
and towered over our house to the point that we could visibly see the roof of the two story house to
go around a garage to get to another yard next to it.
Now, this would seem tame, if it weren't for the fact that to get around the garage in the first place
you had to step on a ledge that was a little less than a foot wide, back against the wall, over a drop
that would lower gradually. Mind you this in on the right side, we still hadn't gotten around to the
back yet! When we actually reached the back the other kid chickened out and went back to meet us
on the other side (which was wise of him, he

The Call Of The Wild
Charles Darwin, an evolutionary scientist, who once said, "it is not the most intellectual of the
species that survives; it is not the strongest that survives; but the species that survives is the one that
is able best to adapt and adjust to the changing environment in which it finds itself". In Jack London
's book The Call of The Wild, out of many themes the most important is adaptation for many
reasons. Buck has adapted mentally and physically, Buck 's original character was changed very
quickly after arriving in the cold Alaskan wilderness. Buck adapted in many ways throughout the
book and this helped him greatly in surviving and becoming the lead sled dog and eventually a giant
"ghost dog".
Buck started as a pampered large house dog was stolen and he was forced to adapt to the cold
Alaskan conditions. Bucks environment has changed from the beginning of the book he has lived in
warm Santa Clara valley California but he must adapt to these cool harsh icy conditions of
Alaska"Buck lived at a big house in the sun–kissed Santa Clara Valley" (London 21). Judge Miller 's
place, it was called" (London 21) Buck used to live in sunny California and lived with a rich family
and occasionally went hunting with his owner... But now he has gone to Alaska where it 's a cold
barren and unforgiving landscape where he must adapt to survive "This first theft marked Buck as fit
to survive in the hostile Northland environment. It marked his adaptability, his capacity to adjust
himself to

Hiking 101 Essay
Hiking (Arizona) 101
I spent much of my Presidents Day holiday on the trail. The 75 degree blue sky
weather was beautiful and the people were few.
I thought that I would do a quick Hiking 101 (Arizona version) for my readers.
It is pretty basic and common sense, I know, but I have learned over the years that
common sense is anything but common so here you go.WATER UP – Water, water, water
is what I preach to my players and considering our low humidity environment it is
good advice.
When you work hard in our dry heat you lose a lot of water just by huffing and
puffing and sweat that quickly evaporates so you don't notice it. Dehydration
sneaks up on you. I start and end every day with a tall glass of water and try to ... Show more

If you have an
overwhelming compulsion to take you dog out in public and mingle with other dog
owners find a dog park.Pay constant attention to where you are putting your feet
while you are moving. If you are going to look at the scenery, and I absolutely
think you should, don't do it while you are moving. Stop and look around or you
are gonna take a fall or roll an ankle. It only takes one misstep. Arizona trails
are almost always super rocky, from little round marbles to salt block sized ankle
breakers our trails consist of mile after mile of rocks. So, make sure you put
your feet on the solid stuff while you are going down hill or that forward foot is
gonna come out from under you. Go from one mostly buried rock to another and stay
off the marbles and you will be fine. Remember that most skiing accidents happen
on the last run of the day and most mountaineering accidents happen post summit

Jorton And Asher Short Story
Asher and Fen hail from the forelands of Cherrygrove in the southeast of Johto.
Fen and Asher's grandfather and guardian resided on an atoll off the mainland, the last remnant of a
sunken island that in former days had been inhabited by able–bodied sailors and bosomy bawds.
Centuries ago, a lighthouse was erected far below the lagoon's watery depths, rising hundreds of feet
to breach the low–slung clouds. Twice a week, on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings, Dr.
Harrold (a widowed woman of hazy vision and memory) would sail out to check up on the hermetic
old man and his two grandchildren who resided in the tumbledown lighthouse. When she was still a
slat–thin and wild–eyed child marooned on the edge of puberty, Fen earned her weekly passage
across the waters by gathering––per the good doctor's instructions––medicinal plants that grew
abundantly around the lagoon. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A week later he woke up with an excruciating ache in his knee that persisted for days before the pain
transferred to his shoulder. The aborigines of the Johto region worshiped the heavenly order and a
host of legendary pokémon fabled to hold sway over mortality. With every bone in his body reduced
to ruins, he turned to the lore of the land and prayed for relief at the Ilex shrine, his head bowed and
legs crossed, wordlessly refusing to budge for thirty–six hours. Then a voice spoke to him out of his
delirium and told him to embark on a pilgrimage of regeneration, to seek out the legendary pokémon
presiding over the mortal plane and pray to each one in turn for renewed health. Only after he had
paid his respects to all the deities of the earth would his malady be cured. Asher accepted the quest
and immediately traveled to the atoll of his bygone childhood, confiding everything to his
grandfather, the one person he could trust to give him

Most smallmouth range from 10 inches up to 20. Bass over 20 inches are rare but a lot of fun to catch. A good healthy temperature for small mouth is between 68 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Normally bass live between 6 to 14 years, but with perfect conditions a bass can live up to 20 years. Small mouth like to create nests with their tails in 3 to 8 feet of water, with sand and small gravel for a bottom. The male will create and guard the nest. Feeding for smallmouth tops when the temperature is around 78 degrees and starts to slow down once the temperature goes below 40 degrees. The male always guards the eggs and the babies which are known as fry. The spawning usually occurs in April or May unless the temperature stays cold than it can be delayed. The first person to describe a smallmouth bass was Lacepede is 1802. The fry hatch out of their eggs in about a week and then continue to develop for another week. Young smallmouths are fed upon by yellow perch, Northern pike or muskellunge. Bigger bass are only eaten by northern pike, musky but the main predators of smallmouth bass are humans. The lifespan in the wild is normally about seven years, but some will live up to 20 years. In captivity the average age is ten years. When the young hatch out of their eggs they are about 0.2 inches long, very easy prey for a variety of animals. Multiple females will spawn in the nest of one male and an individual female will spawn in more than one. Smallmouth dance and bite each other, this is their mating ritual. My son screamed loudly in protest because he was convinced that his sister had gotten more juice than he did. He pointed to the tall glass and said her glass was bigger and she had more. I tried to explain that both glasses had the same amount with no success. My daughter got tired of the loud protests and gave her brother her glass and said, "here just drink mine." • 13. Drug Smoking And Drug Trafficking In The World If I have another day like I did today, I'm going to scream until they take me away to the funny farm and feed me meds twenty–four seven. For ten years I've stuffed circuit boards at the High Cats International Corporation and at noon, a thousand federal agents, which included, the FBI, ICE, Homeland Security, and local police, raided the place and arrested the owner of High Cats and fifty high ranking employees. According to what I overheard the Federal agents had confiscated 800 pounds of cocaine, 400 ounces of meth, 200 ounces of heroin, 9, 00 ounces of marijuana and a shit load of prescription pills. As well as, 560 high powered rifles and over 600 thousand dollars, stuffed in paper bags. How was I to know that drug trafficking and weapons smuggling were taking place, right under my nose? Needless to say, the Feds padlocked the front door and now I'm jobless When I arrived home, I found a note from my wife informing me, she had cleaned out both the saving and checking accounts, and ran off with a travelling salesman, twenty minutes later the bank foreclosed on the house and right after that the repo man drove away in my truck. With no money in my wallet, I packed a duffle bag and found a park bench down by the river and spent the night. Sometime around sunrise I felt a tug on my foot. When I opened my eyes there stood a man about the age of my great grandfather, who resemble Gandalf the Gray or maybe Albus Dumbledore, but not as elegant. Thou his white hair hung down to his waist, it lacked luster, his cloak appeared tattered and his walking stick was nothing more than a broken branch from a nearby tree. As I jumped to my feet he says, with an air of sincerity and a hint of genteelness, "Dear sir, I apologize for startling you, but would it be an inconvenience upon you, if we share this park bench for it's the only one that offers a hint of shade." • 15. Buoyancy: United States Customary Units and Water Ski... Today most people think of ships as common every day tools that don't take much to understand. One builds a hull and some little structuring later and bam you have a ship. But ship building is much more than taking some metal and building a floating structure. It takes years of understanding and research to build such a vessel. Mankind has been building ships for centuries but it was not until the 17th century that Archimedes, a great Greek Mathmatitions, ideas were used and studied closely. Today no one would even think of building a ship without using some type of calculations or a computer to draft out a design. The same principles used in the dynamics of ship building are used in the manufacturing of kneeboards, water skis and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One way is called a beach start and the first thing a person should do to perform this type of start would be to strap themselves to the board. The boat drives away from the beach you hold onto the rope you're your knee boarding. The second way is the most used and I call it a deep water start. The deep water start begins with me laying on the kneeboard with the strap to my side and holding the rope out at the edge of the board. As the boat starts to pick up speed the kneeboard begins to lift up higher out the water. This happens because the tilt of the board pushes on the water causing the water to push back which gives the board its lift. While the boat is still speeding up I begin my move up the board by pulling my knees up toward my chest. As I am pulling up my knees, I slowly start to lean back on the board. This is to keep the right amount of lift while I am still getting up to speed. Now that I have my knees in the knee slots I grab the strap and secure myself to the board so I don't fall off. Once I am settled in on the board and have the boat running about 25 mph the kneeboard and I have no problem with balance. Because of my new speed I can knee on the board and not worry about fall over. The reason behind this is simple, speed, without moving across the water kneeing down on the board was nearly impossible. Now that I am traveling across the water I have the lift from the water and a small amount of drag. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Demonstrate How To Properly Fit For A Bra Topic: Bra Fitting Purpose: Demonstrate how to properly fit for a bra Thesis Statement: Wearing the correct size bra maintains breast health and can improve your appearance. Good Morning Ladies and Gents! As you may know, my name is Janell, and I am pleased to talk with you about a topic that is near and dear to my heart: Bra Fitting! This may not pertain to the gentlemen here today but it is useful information that you could pass along to the women in your life. I have been working as bra fitter for the past six months with the company called Macy's. Let me ask you a question: "On average, what percentage of women are wearing the wrong size bra?" (Pause) According Wikipedia, 75–85% of women wear the wrong size. For the next few ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For example, if you measured 31 inches, your band size should 32.If your measurement is already an even number, this is almost always your band size, but you may need a smaller or larger size depending on your body type. * Measure your cup size. Measure completely around the fullest part of your bust. It the number falls on a half inch, round up. Now, Subtract your band size from your bust measurement Example: 34 inches (band) – 37 inches (bust) = 3 inches difference. For every inch it's a cup size (i.e. on inch is an A cup, Two inches is a B cup, etc...) making this cup size a C. We have now determined the size at being a 32C. Before concluding my demonstration I would like review a couple things we have learned today. We've learned there are a large percentage of women who are wearing the incorrect size bra. The best way to cure this is to get fitted! It only takes a few minutes and there are many department stores that offer the service free of charge. We have also learned that bra's should be comfortable and feel as though you're not even wearing one. This again is achieved by being properly fitted. Fitting yourself is easy and can be achieved with a couple of measurements and a little bit of math skills. Just remember band size – bust size= cup size! This concludes my demonstration on bra fitting. I want to say thank–you for listening and I appreciate your kind attention. Worked Cited How to Measure Your Bra Size. 2013. Retrieved January 18, ... • 23. The United States Should Go From The Metric System The debate on whether or not the United States should go to the metric system has been ongoing for years and still to this day the United States uses the English System of Measurements. It includes the inch, foot, yard and mile, along with many other units of measurement. The United States is one of three countries that still use other systems of measurement instead of going metric. The other two countries that have not adopted to using the metric system are Liberia and Burma, also known as Myanmar. The metric system is simply a unit of measure. It is used in medicine, science and engineering. This system makes it easier to make conversions by moving the decimal either to the left or right. It also has stability by using prefixes and each unit has only one value, regardless of what is being measured or who is measuring. There are fewer measures to learn in the metric system than in the English Customary System. Instead of having to remember that there are 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard and 1760 yards in a mile, it would be much easier to multiply or divide a number by a certain power of 10. It would be much easier for the United States to communicate to the rest of the world by switching to the metric system. Everything that is important to the future of our country and economy, such as industry, science business and exports, is already using the metric system. Units in the English system of measurements such as the foot and gallon are all based on the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My Grandmother is not just my Grandmother; she is also my friend, my provider, and my savior because without her I would have more than likely taken a very wrong path in life. There she stands, all of five feet tall, short brown hair set in pin curls, dressed in modern day slacks and a flower print shirt. My mother figured it was my father 's job to provide me with these items, but since it was my Grandma picking me up, the burden fell upon her. • 31. Anna Garcia Research Paper Anna Garcia was found dead at 11:00 am on August 15, 2012, by neighbor Doug Green. The cause of death is a very clear loss of blood at the head, by hitting her right temple on a table. There are a few prime suspects. Also there were clues found at the crime scene, including an empty syringe, pills– later found to be aspirin and orange juice, footprints leading to and away from the crime scene. There was blood everywhere, on the table, syringe, juice cup, and near Annas head. The main theorem we have developed, is that it was Erica but it was an accident. We think Erica came over and got a little mad, pushed her a little. Anna was weak because she is in pain and had just taken pain medication. That is why she had the syringe. She had the orange juice because she was taking it with her aspirin. Anna fell harder than Erica expected, and she slammed her head on the table. Erica didn't know what to do, so she fled the scene without cleaning up her tracks because she was panicked and booked it out of there. Summary of Findings Some evidence found at the crime scene of Anna Garcia included fingerprints some bloody, and some regular. Fedex marketing Case Essay Case 1: "Federal Express" Company analysis – Does Courier Pak (CP) make sense for Fed Ex FedEx's new product Courier Pak makes sense because of its' high profit margin and potential to generate new volume. Out of the 3 services that Fed Ex provides, CP yields the highest profit margin at 66% while Priority–One is at 55% and SAS is only at 27%. In addition to this, the company believes that it will be able to boost up sale of CP from 1300 to 6000 packages per day. This shows that CP is the most profitable and huge potential for growth. Due to the fact that carrying capacity of the Falcons usually reached its maximum volume before it reached the maximum load allowance, CP is definitely the solution to balance this volume to weight ratio. With the estimation that 10–lb cargo took up about one cubic foot of space, CP's volume is about 0.1 cubic foot while SAS and P1 is around 1.4cubic foot. The average daily package volume for the week ended 5/7 for both SAS and P1 is 19,422 while CP is 1,304. This yielded a total of 27321.2 cubic feet which accounts for 85% of volume capacity. At 100% volume capacity will be approximately 32,142 cubic feet which allows additional 4820.8 cubic feet to be filled with 48208 CP. This shows that it is definitely viable for Fed Ex to hit the goal of 6,000 CP a day without going over its maximum volume capacity. Competition – What is the competition for CP? There is intense competition for the Fed Ex Courier Pack in the package delivery market. Airlines by providing same day package service delivery are strongly represented in this market. The strongest competition for CP would be the in the overnight delivery sector which are mainly the air freight forwarders particularly, Emery who is a huge player in this segment of the market. The BP oil spill is one of the largest spills in the history of the U.S. and one of the largest unintentional spills in history. The oil in which was spilled was in the Gulf of Mexico. The spill did not only harm the environment, but 11 lives were taken in total from the spill. It took 87 days to clean up most of the oil. The minimum penalty was $1,100 per barrel, while the maximum was $3,000 per barrel. The total price paid for the minimum was $5.39 billion, and the max was $14.7 billion. Although, some argued that the rate should have been as high as $4,300 per barrel. If that were the case, then it would be $21.07 billion. The settlement amount that was eventually paid was at a lower amount of $18.7 billion. The percent of the maximum fine that was paid was 89%. In order to get the percentage, you need to divide 18.7 billion by 21.07 billion and that equals 0.887, then round it to 89. Then, when you want to get the final amount, you have to add the highest and lowest terms and divide by two. So as the equations go, it would be $21.07 billion + $18.7 billion = $39.77 billion / 2 = $19.9 billion. The mid–range to the final amount of $18.7 billion, is $19.9 billion. The price of the settlement at $18.7 billion was in fact too low. If you look at the number of people and animals affected by the spill, it is justified asking for a higher amount from BP oil company. Taking into consideration ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 53. The Treasure Within the Money Pit on Oak Island The Treasure Within There is a mystery that brings together the Holy Grail, a band of pirates, William Shakespeare, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This mystery is the Money Pit located on Oak Island. People have thrown millions of life savings hoping to get their hands on the treasure in the Oak Island Money Pit, and all have met with failure. This pit has withstood two centuries of people trying to discover the treasure within. I am certain there is treasure located in the Money Pit on Oak Island. Oak Island is located off the shores of Nova Scotia, along Canada's Atlantic Coast. It is one of three–hundred and sixty islands around Mahone Bay. Rocks and sand skirt the perimeter of the island while native forest and shrubbery cover most of its interior. It's about 200 meters from the shore of Nova Scotia and is approximately 140 acres. The discovery of Oak Island's Money Pit begins in the summer of 1795 when a teenager named Daniel McGinnis saw strange lights on an island offshore from his parent's house. He noticed an odd circular depression roughly 13 ft. in diameter on the island's forest floor (The Last Great N. page). He also saw that a good amount of oak trees around the recession had been cut down. McGinnis decided to leave the island to ask for the help of his two friends, John Smith and Anthony Vaughan. The next day, the three teenagers began excitedly digging on the curious site. They were so excited because the unpopulated wilderness of the region provided ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The answer is a breed called a Clydesdale. This breed is one of the biggest horses that there is. They are only used to pull carts and they are the best breed you can use to pull a cart. They have short legs unlike the Clydesdale, but have the leg feathering similar to the Clydesdale. The Belgians are usually seventeen hands tall, so similar to the Clydesdale. The colors this breed is generally found in are chestnut and roan (Graphiq n.p.). The Shire horse breed is also similar to the Clydesdale breed. It is also a type of draft horse breed. One of the big differences is that the Shire horse breed stands approximately 21.2 hands tall. This is basically towering over the Clydesdale, which is impressively tall. The Shire horses have slightly arched necks, but not as arched as the Clydesdale. This neck makes them less attractive when pulling a cart. The Shires also have large eyes and they are wide chested. They placed another gold band around my neck – as customary for a disobedient slave in Vere. The stocky man from before, as well as his subordinate, guided me off the ship personally – the regent's guard not too far behind. The layers of grime and waste that had plagued my body were now gone. My hair however, hadn't returned to its former glory. The once–coveted golden locks that used to lie at the base of my lower back now lie unkempt on my shoulders. Thankfully, they hadn't cut it all off. It was Auguste who was better off in that subject, as he was the one to eventually ascend to the throne. I cursed myself in my home language – but only after the words escaped my mouth did I remember where I was. "He's got a foul mouth," a voice commented in Veretian. It was commanding, and a bit gravelly on certain syllables. The voice said something again, but I admit the true meaning was lost on me. "Come forward," he commanded. I wasn't graced with the opportunity to choose to obey or not, because I was dragged by my arms to the foot of his throne, inches from his feet. Firm hands on my shoulder pushed me to my knees. I tilted my head up, trying to maintain some regality from where I knelt, eyes level with his stomach. I looked up and there he was. The Crowned Prince of Akelios himself. My captor. His eyes scanned over me from top to bottom, slowly, to assess his new prize. His eyes finally rested on my short, choppy blonde hair. They're scared to death of even thinking about being in high places, seeing tall buildings or structures and the very worst, actually being at a high elevation. In any of these scenarios people with alto–phobia (the fear of heights) can often get dizzy, experience panic attacks, anxiety and a whole other host of things that would endanger them in certain situations. Luckily, I am not one those people, because if I was, either I wouldn't have a cool story to tell or I'd be dead right now. This little escapade happened when I was around 7 to 8 years old, I'm not entirely sure the age but it was definitely around that period. During that time in the area in which I lived there were these kids who lived really close to me whom I used to muck around with during the summer or whenever. This day in particular was one of those days. My childhood friend Jesiah; who was about two years older than me, wanted to go on one of those adventures we used to go on all the time, so he grabbed another kid (whose name I have forgotten) to come along with us. What we used to do was run through other people's backyards, but it's way more interesting than it sounds, I promise. My house was on a hill, so that the neighbors backyards behind us was almost entirely above my house. Many of their yards had steep climbs, were sometimes very wild, and just fun to run around in and jump from yard to yard. This time, however, we didn't just go into the usual yards we'd go in. For some reason we decided to go one block up and come down to a certain yard that was two houses down, and towered over our house to the point that we could visibly see the roof of the two story house to go around a garage to get to another yard next to it. Now, this would seem tame, if it weren't for the fact that to get around the garage in the first place you had to step on a ledge that was a little less than a foot wide, back against the wall, over a drop that would lower gradually. Mind you this in on the right side, we still hadn't gotten around to the back yet!
