selection of adequate structural materials and components,
such as fire-doorsets, an essential protective element
against the destructive force of fire. As a result, the use of

Delta model is our most economic fire-door
featuring the most advanced technological
innovations, and a structure similar to the
rest of doorset in the same range. The door
is characterized by its easy installation and
maintenance.

Leaf Frame
Standard Measurements
The HANDLE SYSTEM included in the standard range comprises two lever
handles made of a highly-resistant material, coverplates and backplates, also
made of the same material, with key-holes on both sides.
When installing the frame into a brick wall, always use cement-based mortars
and do not use plaster or other derivatives. (Plaster attacks the zinc coating
which protects the galvanised steel against corrosion).
The CS5 frame can be screwed onto a specially designed galvanised steel
SUB-FRAME, which is optional, and allows the easy installation of the door
once the construction works are completed (see page 26 et 27).
Its STRUCTURE consists of two non-welded 0’7-mm-thick galvanised steel
sheet with “antifinger-print” protection. The doorset is also available in pre-lacquered
white steel finish.
The doorset is equipped with 2 HINGES own manufacturing of 3 mm thickness
screwed onto the leaf and assembled to the frame. Certified CE Mark
according to EN-1935.
A central steel anti-crow bar bolt for improved security is incorporated into the
frame.
The LOCKING SYSTEM includes a mortice lock of one-point locking system
with CE Mark according to EN-12209:2007. The system also comprises a
35x35 brass cylinder with keys.
The profile of this doorset is mounted onto a frame called CS5 made of 1’2
mm-thick galvanised steel.
An intumescent seal or rubber seal can also be installed even if the door is
not equipped with a seal.

brickwork, or screwed onto a sub-frame.

The Volta doorset is our most practical fire
rated steel doorset essentially characterized by its
REVERSIBILITY.
This high-quality designed doorset is easily
ADAPTABLE, as it can be installed to open either
towards the right or the left.
The doorset is built and assembled without welding.
It is classified as EI2 30-60-90, in accordance with
the tests carried out in an approved laboratory.

The STRUCTURE consists of two non-welded 0’8 mm thick
galvanised steel sheets. The doorset is also available in pre-lacquered

differs according to the width for reversibility purposes.
4 galvanized steel anchors on each side, allowing the frame to
be installed in brickwork, or screwed onto a sub-frame.
The doorset comprises an expanding graphite joint. The
fitting of a rubber seal is optional.

Its INTERIOR is filled with a combination of fire-resistant
materials.
The doorset is equipped with 3 steel galvanised HINGES
own manufacturing of 3mm thick, screwed onto the leaf and
assembled onto the frame. Certified in accordance with EN-
1935 and CE Mark.
The LOCKING SYSTEM comprises a mortice lock with one
and 3 points (in 1 leaf). Certified CE Mark according to EN
12209:2004. The system also includes a 35x35 or 35x50 (for
EI2 120 door) brass cylinder with the keys.
The HANDLE SYSTEM included in the standard range
comprises two lever handles made of a highly-resistant
material, cover-plates and back plates with key holes on both

The Double Leaf Turia EI2 120 C5, is similar to the Turia single
leaf EI2 120 C5: it’s built with 3 galvanised steel sheets, with a
“reinforcement” plate on the pan side. Its leaf is 74 mm thick.
This double leaf doorset is also available in white prelaquared
finish and stainless steel and for any other finish upon request.
The ACTIVE LEAF has the same characteristics as the TURIA
model.
The interior of the INACTIVE LEAF is the same than its
active counterpart, except that it incorporates an automatic
cremone lock (instead of the traditional bolt lock system
installed on the edge).
This mechanism comprises the
following parts:
- Retainer in the upper part of the
inactive leaf.
- Rods fitted into the interior of the
inactive leaf.
- An automatic closing system for
the cremone lock.
- 9 mm mortice lock.
When the handle of the inactive leaf is activated, the locking
mechanism of the door is released, opening the door.
This mechanism allows the installation of panic bars
without having to install external fasteners, improving
appearance and efficiency.
The electric stike is certidied for this model in 1 and 2 leaves
for 30, 60 and 90 minutes.

Technical Characteristics – TURIA asymmetric double leaf doorset
The Asymmetric Double Leaf Doorset characteristics are exactly the same as a Turia Double Leaf Doorset, except for the width of the active
leaf, which differs from that of the inactive leaf. This mechanism also allows for the installation of panic bars. The asymmetry of the Turia
double leaf differs according the requirements of each project.
TURIA fix panels
Fix panels are a solution specially developed by Andreu to cover any space on a site with our standard doorset.
The structure is based in Turia doorset and depending on the space, fix panels can be installed above or on the side of the doorset. Moreover,
we can produce with or without intermediate frame between the fix panel and the door leaf. In both cases we have them certified EI2 60,
according to the standard UNE-EN 1634:2002.

Fix panel and door leaf are build with the same frame.
In this case, door leaf is in direct contact with the fix panel.
This structure is an esthetical and light solution, which is
normally used for upper fix panels.

In this case the fix panel is independent from the doorset, where each one has is own frame. This solution is better for bigger dimensions
and it’s the best solution for fix panels with glass.

door has been developed in order to supply
the market with a high level Fire-Doorset thanks
to its high mechanical resistance, its wide
sturdiness and the variety of finishings and
accessories.
Turia Premium doorset has 5 stainless steel
hinges, a reinforcement plate of 10 mm thickness
and a sub-frame as standard.
Turia Premium doorset can be installed with
the supplied sub-frame, specially designed by
Andreu, in a brick wall or plasterboard wall, without
loosing the certificate EI2 60 C5.

Single leaf
Turia Premium EI2 60 C5 STRUCTURE is based in 3 non-welded and prelacquered
antifinger steel plates of 1 mm thickness. The doorset is 75 mm thick and has a lid in
his structure; and has an edge of 16 mm wide and 2 mm thick.
Its INTERIOR is filled with a combination of fire-resistant materials.
The door has 5 stainless steel HINGES of 3 mm thickness. They are made accordingly to
our own design and to the norm UNE-EN 1935. Moreover they are CE marked. They are
screwed to the leaf and assembled to the frame.
The LOCKING SYSTEM comprises a stainless steel mortice lock with one point locking
system. It’s also CE marked accordingly to norm UNE-EN 12209:2004. The system also
comprises a 35x35 nickel cylinder with keys.
The HANDLE SYSTEM included in the standard range comprises a TESA brand stainless
steel square cover plate with handle and keyhole, model SENA.
The door is mounted onto a CS5 frame made of 1,5 mm thickness galvanized steel.
4 galvanised steel anchors on each side, allowing the frame to be installed in brickwork or
screwed onto a sub-frame.
The doorset comprises a graphite intumescent seal and a rubber seal.
A SUB-FRAME is also comprised, certified and specially designed to screw our CS5 frame.
To allow an easy installation once the work is finished. (Look sub-frame chapter).
Doble leaf
Turia Premium double leave EI2 60’s STRUCTURE is based in 3 non-welded and
prelacquered antifinger steel plates of 1 mm thickness. The doorset is 75 mm thick and
has a lid in his structure; and has an edge of 16 mm wide and 2 mm thick.
The ACTIVE LEAF has the same characteristics than Turia model, excepts its thickness
leaf and steel sheat.
The INACTIVE LEAF structure is similar to the active leaf, excepts for the automatic
cremone lock (instead of the flush bolt). This mechanism has:
- Retainer in the top of the inactive leaf.
- Rods inside the inactive leaf.
- Automatic cremone lock.
- 9 mm mortice lock.
When the inactive leaf’s handle is moved, the automatic cremone lock is released and the
door is opened.
The mechanism allows the installation of panic bars without incorporating external
rods: which is an improvement of the door’s aesthetics and efficiency.

Turia Double Opening Sense’s STRUCTURE is made
with 2 galvanized steel sheets of 0,8 mm thickness,
assembled without welding and with the antifinger
protection plus the epoxy painting. It’s thickness is 63
mm, with a 16 mm width and 2 mm thickness rebate.
Its INSIDE is made with different fire-proof and
thermical isolation materials.
With 3 HINGES in 3 mm thickness steel, made with
our own design, CE marked according to UNE-EN1935:
2002 standard. The hinges are screwed to
the leaf and assembled to the frame
The frame used in this doorset model is the C7 DS,
made with 1 width and 2 jambs from the same model,
where are screwed 2 rods of CS5 frame through nuts.
This frame has to be filled with concrete during the
installation. That’s why the jambs of this frame has
been prepared to facilitate the filling.
An intumescent seal in graphite is incorporated in
the jambs and the width of the frame.
C7 DS frame has a lower bar to facilitate the installation
of the door, indicating the floor level.

Technical Characteristics -Turia Double Opening Sense
Double Opening Sense doorset is similar to a Turia Double Leaf doorset, exception of its Double Opening Sense. This means, that each one
of the leaves are opening in a different sense. That’s why this doorset is mostly used in hospitals.

FIRE RATED AND ACOUSTIC DOORSET–SINGLE LEAF EI2 60-90 C5 FONO-TURIA
Fono-Turia doorset model combines the
characteristics of a Fire Doorset with the acoustic
insulation.
The Fono-Turia is fire rated doorset, single leaf,
with steel frame, assembled without welding and
designed to resist against the fire and to protect
against the noise.
This doorset is tested and certified in accordance
with EN-1634-1: 2000, EN ISO 140-3:1995, EN
1191:2000.

Leaf Frame
Its STRUCTURE consists of two non-welded 0’8 mm thick galvanised
steel sheets. Its interior is filled with a combination of insulated
materials such as rockwool and plasterboard. The doorset is 63 mm
thick, is eqquiped with an automatic threshold.
The door is mounted onto a CS5 FRAME made of 1’5 mm thick
galvanised steel. There are galvanised steel anchors on each side,
allowing the frame to be installed in brickwork, or screwed onto a sub-frame.
Fono-Turia range
The doorset is equipped with 3 HINGES own manufacturing of 3 mm
thick screwed onto the leaf and assembled to the frame. Certified CE
Mark according to EN-1935.
The LOCKING SYSTEM includes a mortice lock of one-point locking
system with CE Mark according to EN-12209:2007. The system also
comprises a 35x35 brass cylinder with keys.
The HANDLE SYSTEM included in the standard range comprises two
lever handles made of a highly-resistant material, coverplates and
backplates, also made of the same material, with key-holes on both
sides.
To provide an ACOUSTIC INSULATION, rubber seals are incorporated
onto the leaf: one of black rubber 15x3 mm and another one of vinyl
which is activated automatically when the door closes.

Sigma doorset model combines the characteristics of
the Fire Doorset with the aesthetics and resistance of
a Formica Laminate door.
In close collaboration with Formica we have produced
a 2 mm High Pressure Formica Laminate, ideal for
this type of vertical application.
There is no other doorset in the market that has a
Laminate of this thickness as practically all doors that
use a Formica covering have a standard thickness of
0.7 mm.
Not only does the aesthetics of this Formica
covering differ to that of the traditional Fire
Door but it also provides strong resistance against
scratching, abrasion and impact, without the
need of later maintenance.

Apart from the standard reference range that we provide, there is a choice of other
plain colours, woodgrains and patterns within the rest of the Formica range.
Besides the catalogue range there is also the option of creating a personalised
design using the DigiForm digital printing. The design and technical characteristics
of the Laminate would be maintained.
Customised model
Sigma consists of four models designed for the Hospital, Hotel, School,
Bank and Office segments.
In collaboration with Tesa, we have configured special hardware for the
Sigma door of Stainless Steel quality. Each doorset model has a different
configuration with regards to the lever handle and other accessories such
as stainless steel kickplates to safeguard hospital beds and trolleys,
stainless steel frames and profiles, hinges, etc….

Single leaf
Its Structure consists of two non-welded 0’8 mm thick galvanised steel sheet
covered with 2 High Pressure Formica Laminate of 2 mm thick.
This hight quality Formica Laminate is constructed from layers of paper impregnated
with termoselting synthetic resins and fixed to the steel sheets with contact glue and
with steel profile against the leaf perimeter edge, oven-painted or in galvanised
steel, 0’8 mm thick.
Its interior is filled with a combination of fire-resistant materials (rockwool and
plasterboard) and steel reinforcements. The door is 69 mm thickness.
The doorset is equipped with 3 or 4 height-adjustable reversible steel galvanised
hinges of 3 mm thick, produced in-house.
The doorset comprises a mortice lock with one point locking system and also a steel
cylinder with keys.
The handle system included in the standard range comprises stainless steel lever
handle and cover-plates.
The Sigma doorset also includes plastic corner brackets to ensure the rigidity of the
leaf and frame and maintain the correct door position during the installation. These
must be removed after installation.
Double leaf
The door is mounted onto a CS5 frame made of 1’5 mm thick
galvanised steel and oven-painted. The frame can also be made of 1’5
mm thickness stainless steel called CS65 frame model.
The frame includes a rubber seal to ensure smooth door closure and
to avoid gaps, an expanding joint not required.
The frame has 2 mm thick galvanised steel anchors for installation to
brickwork or to sub-frame.
A steel sub-frame is recommended for the Sigma door in order to
prevent incidents during works such as paint, plaster, cement,….

The following table refers all the allowed sizes of the certificacion in accordance with UNE 1634-1:2001, for each Fire Meter Door.
The TURIA METER DOOR has the same technical
characteristics as the other TURIA doorset, except for the
following:
- It comprises a CS5 frame closed on all four
sides.
- The number of hinges depends of the size of the door,
with a minimum of 2 hinges.
- The four sides of the leaf are surrounded by an edge to
ensure a tight fit in the closed frame.
The Turia Meter Doors can be manufactured in single or
double leaf.
Cyliner with thumb turn
The standard handle system of the meter door comprises
a coverplate with key hole on both sides and cylinder
with thumb turn on lid side. However, any type of opening
system can be fitted upon request.

Lex Meter Doors
Its STRUCTURE comprises two non-welded
0’7 mm thick galvanised steel sheets. Its
interior is filled with a combination of fire-resistant
materials such as rockwool and plasterboard.
The door is 62 mm thick.
The door is equipped with 2 opposite galvanised
steel HINGES own manufacturing of 2,5 mm
thickness. These hinges are screwed onto the
leaf and assembled onto the frame. Certified CE
Mark in accordance with EN 1935.
This meter door is equipped with steel cam with
triangular spindle. Not lever handle included.
The FRAME is our corner frame CS5, assembled
without welding. It is made of 1,2 mm galvanised
steel sheet, with steel galvanised anchors
allowing the frame to be installed in brickwork.
The fitting of a rubber seal and intumescent joint
are optional.

Installation of the doorset to a sub-frame
E-doors has developed a sub-frame which helps for the installation of our fire rated doorsets, in plasterboard or brick walls, certified
EI2’60. This sub-frame has been developed and patented.
Installation in plasterboard wall with wrapping frame
The wrapping sub-frame allows the installation of E-doors fire rated doorsets into a plasterboard wall, maintaining its EI2’60
certification. It has several u-shaped lengtheners, u-shaped beams and u-shaped top legs; that allows to build the plasterboard
wall once the sub-frame is installed.

The door closer is an accessory, usually installed in the top of the door leaf and the top of the frame that allows a controlled closure of the door.
Panic Device
Panic bars are often installed on fire-doorsets. This accessory is designed to open the door immediately in case of emergency. The most commonly used bars are
shown below:

For one-point lock single leaf doors. Consists of two panic bars 2000N model. The
automatic locking system on the inactive leaf is
a cremone lock, allowing the internal rod to be
activated with no need for additional installations on
the leaf and guarantees the locking of the door at
two points.
Consists of two panic bars, 2000N model and 2001N
model. In contrast with the previous one, the locking
mechanism is installed onto the surface of the leaf.
Door closer
When selecting a door closer the following aspects should be taken into consideration:
• With Mark and the 4th digit of its classification has to be number 1, indicating its capacity
for fire rated doors.
• The door closer force will calculated according to width and weight of the door.
• Door closer frequency use : moderate, frequent or intensive.
• Installation type : normal, inverted, parallel or reverse…
available with ECO Multigenius model with
strength 3-S.

The vision panels accessories are designed to allow the light through without loosing the fire capacity, can be rounds or rectangulars.
If the doorset is tested according the EN 1634-1 Standard, its glass would be fire with CE Mark, if the contrary it will loose the test validity.
This glass ensures a high temperature capacity equivalent with door fire resistance EI2. Its thickness will depend on its fire classification test.

Fire Rated Louvers
The fire intumescent louvers allow the air flow without changing the fire
resistance capacity.
These louvers include horizontal intumescent slits with a perimetral
frame of the same material ensuring the maximum ventilation and
fire resistance.

All our fire rated doorset have been tested to a Closing Durability Test according the
EN1191-1 : 2000 Standard.
All our range of products passed the 200.000 opening and closing cycles, obtaining a C5
classification.
CE Mark Hinges without Spring
The fire-rated Andreu doorset are equipped with new hinges without spring, own
manufacturing.
These hinges have been tested and certified by approval laboratories and
achieve the CE Mark according the EN 1935.

Degree IP classification is obtained after carrying out the test following the rule UNE 20324 and it’s shown with 2 digits. First one, goes from
0 to 6, is showing the size of the body that the wrapping material is allowing the entrance. For E-doors meter boxes degree 2 indicates
that they are protected against a body bigger than 12 mm. Second one, goes from 0 to 8, is showing the protection level of the
equipment inside the meter box against the water entrance. Degree 0 indicates that they don’t have any specific protection against water
eMnotrreaonvceer., E-doors meter boxes have a Degree IP 2.0. which shows the protection level of the wrapping material against the entrance of
water and unknown objects.
