lesson, fun, games and snacks!
Jr. High Youth Group this Wednesday at 6:30 - Devo, fun, games, snacks!
Looking Ahead:
Sr. High - We encourage you to come caroling with the church next Sunday
prior to youth group. (See details in the bulletin.) Youth Group will begin at
6:00 pm with our Christmas Dinner. Bring a white elephant gift of $5 or less.
Jr. High – December 21 will be our Christmas Dinner. Bring a white
elephant gift of $5.00 or less.
There will be no youth groups on Christmas, Dec. 28, Jan.1 or Jan. 4
but plan to join us for our New Year’s Eve Party on Dec. 31.
JUNIOR HIGH FOR GRADES 6-8
Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm
SENIOR HIGH FOR GRADES 9-12
Sundays 6:00-7:30 pm
We have a few families in the church that are in need of some help
this Christmas season. We will be collecting food for Christmas
dinners and could use items such as potatoes, stuffing, green beans,
corn, cranberry sauce, olives, pickles, pies, rolls, etc. There will be
baskets in the fellowship hall for these items which will be delivered
on 12/21. Due to some dietary issues, we are also asking for Meijer
gift cards of any value. Thank you for your help.

TOYS FOR TOTS
We are collecting toys again this year for Toys
for Tots. There is a special need for gifts for
babies and teens. The donation box is located
near the library. Donate by this Thursday.
If you have used or extra Bibles or devotionals, Parkside’s Library is collecting them
to give to new believers who cannot afford them. Please put your gift in the tote

Thank you for all the prayers, calls and cards I received after my surgery.

SUNDAY EVENING CONNECT Join us from 6:00-7:00 p.m. tonight for a time of fellowship
around God’s Word as we share the Christmas story and sing Christmas songs.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR The Childrens’ Choir, Grace Notes, will be taking a Christmas break
and will not be meeting this Wednesday or the 3 weeks following. It will resume on Jan. 11.
If you would like to join the choir (for 1st-5th grade), plan to join the group after the first of the
year from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m. We have lots of fun!! Any questions, contact Sue Spykerman.
LIFT COOKIE EXCHANGE THIS THURSDAY Come and enjoy an evening of fellowship
and goodies on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. Please bring 3 dozen cookies to
exchange and you will go home with a variety plate of goodies. We will spend the evening
reminiscing of Christmas past and looking towards Christmas future. A prize will be awarded
to the most festively-dressed woman. Sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter today.
MINISTRY SERVICE PROJECT Helping Hands is teaming up with the Kitchen and Food
Pantry ministries! They will be collecting food and gift cards to be placed in Gift Baskets that
will be given out around the holidays. Gift cards such as to restaurants, Meijers, Walmart,
gas stations, movies, pizza, Target, etc., would be greatly appreciated in addition to non-
perishables & food items for the baskets. Gift cards can be placed in the box on the table
near the Women’s Ministry Counter and food in the Pantry Box in the Fellowship Hall. The
deadline to donate is this Wednesday.
CHRISTMAS CAROLING AT RESTHAVEN The entire family is invited to join the Women’s
Bible Study for Christmas caroling at Resthaven Maplewood (49 East 32nd St., Holland) next
Sunday from 4:30-5:15 p.m. Following our caroling, we will return to the church for refresh-
ments & fellowship. This is open to the family so bring your children! Please RSVP to Cheryl
Tooke at 616-403-7576 or justpraisin@gmail.com so we know how many plan to join us.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE We will not be having Sunday worship on Christmas Day;
however, please arrange your holiday schedule to attend a special Christmas service on
Christmas Eve, December 24, from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Invite your friends and family to attend
with you!
LITTLE DOLLS FOR ORPHANS PLATE Ministry is planning a workshop on January 14
from 9:00-2:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center at Parkside to cut and sew little dolls for
orphans. If you can sew and have access to a sewing machine, please bring it. If you can’t
sew, come and help us cut out. You can come & go as you need. A light lunch will be
served around noon. There is a sign-up sheet on the Women’s Ministry Counter. Questions,
call Kathy Trantham at 396-1975.
