2. HOW WE CAN HELP
The Veterans Affairs Office helps veterans with resources for them. They will be given
information about the resources available for them. They will also receive tutorial
assistance, academic problems and work-study job information. A person who is
receiving benefits may get a G.I Bill. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is
responsible for applications, decisions regarding payment, issuing checks, and eligibility.

4. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• When should I submit my schedule for certification?
Submit a schedule every semester or when a change is made. The earlier the
better.
• How many semester hours do I need to be considered full time?
To be a full time student 12 hours is required.
• Am I still eligible to receive financial aid even though I receive Veteran Education
benefits?
It doesn’t mean that you can’t. Still apply just to find out anyways.
• Is changing my address with the school sufficient for the Veterans and Military Affairs
Office?
They use a different data-base then the school does. You would still have to fill
out a VA form.
