Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

7. AWARDING PROCESS• To begin the Award letter process
• · All needed documents must be turned into your financial aid portal to be processed and approved.
• · Plans of Attendance Check list have to be filled out and turned into your Financial Aid portal or the
Financial Aid office to be uploaded on your behalf.
• How to fill out the fill out the Plans of Attendance Checklist:
• · Place the date and your name...
• · On the program line, your entire degree program...
• o Example: (Associates of Arts in Leadership Studies)
• · Place a check mark in each box for every semester that you plan on attending for the entire 2018-
2019 school year.
• · The line by each semester should display the number of credits you plan on taking for that
semester. Example (FALL _9_ credits, if you are taking 3 classes that semester).
• · Physically sign on the signature line and place your initials on the three statements below on the
form.

9. CLASS WITHDRAWAL
Financial Aid
• Students will only receive Financial Aid for
classes they have attended.
• Example:
– Student registers for 4 classes, drops 1 class after
the 3 weeks of attendance.
Financial Aid will perform a calculation and evaluation to determine
how much federal aid can be applied to the account and how much
aid must be returned to the Department of Education.

10. Refunds
• Refunds are disbursed within 14 days of receipt and posting
to your student account. To monitor posting students can
review their statement on the student portal at any time.
• Make sure that you have a Direct Deposit form on file with
the Business Office.
• Review the Refund Policy: Please review the student refund
policy for class withdrawals and speak with the Registrar’s
Office before making any changes to your classes after
registration.

11. Veteran Benefits
• There are 2 VA certifying Officials at BHU.
• VA certifications are sent to the VA each semester on the first
day AFTER drop/add.
• Please let the financial aid office know if you make any
changes to your registration or class schedule so that your VA
certification can be updated accordingly.

Read the catalog before the beginning of each semester for updates on

Review the SAP(Satisfactory Academic Progress) Policy on the BHU
website.
Check in with your Academic Advisor before enrolling each semester.
Review your NSLDS status(Remaining Loan Amounts) prior to each
semester.
We encourage Financial Aid counseling each semester prior to enrollment.
Check your Financial Aid status prior to enrollment.
Follow up regarding your financial aid status, check your BHU email and
Financial Aid portal.
