1. Strategy Bridge Training Experience
Strategy Bridge seminars and courses examine the nature of the project
environment and address the role of the project manager and systems engineer
in changing project outcomes. These courses provide attendees the opportunity
to examine and apply the critical competencies necessary for consistent project
success in the most complex of technical projects.
Strategy Bridge has successfully designed and delivered systems engineering
and program/project management training and education programs to U.S.
Government and Industry clients world-wide. Our course suite spans all
experience levels, from fundamentals courses to advanced and graduate-level
courses. Where feasible, our approach is to build upon our existing portfolio of
instructional materials, augmenting and tailoring the materials for the uniqueness
of our clients and their requirements. When client requirements dictate new
course development, our experienced course developers apply the Instructional
System Design (ISD) methodology to craft courses that address the four
recognized adult learning styles: reflective, active, abstract and concrete. Case
studies, exercises, and discussions supplement any lecture-based course in
order to create a multi-dimensional learning environment.
Current Strategy Bridge training programs include:
NASA’s Academy of Program, Project, and Engineering Leadership
(APPEL) Fundamentals of Systems Engineering (FSE), Advanced Project
Management and Advanced Systems Engineering (APM&ASE), Lifecycle
Processes and Systems Engineering, Decision Analysis,andStrategic
Thinking for Project Success courses;
A curriculum of 18 courses used through US Government Agencies,
packaged as either a Systems Engineering or Software Engineering
Certificate program (including courses covering every aspect of the
systems and software engineering lifecycles as well as advanced
seminars in Program and Project Management);
Project Management for Complex Systems and Decision-Making and Risk
for Complex Systems, both 3-credit graduate courses that Strategy Bridge
designed, developed, and delivers (in both face-to-face and on-line
formats) for the System Design and Operational Effectiveness (SDOE)
program offered by the School of Systems and Enterprises at the Stevens
Institute of Technology;
a number of specifically-tailored courses addressing topics in Systems
Thinking, Applied Project Management, Earned Value Management,
Team Leadership, and Process Improvement for the National
Reconnaissance Office, BAE Systems, Raytheon, ManTech International,
and Siemens Medical Systems.

2. The Strategy Bridge approach to course delivery relies on techniques proven
effective in teaching working managers in both Government and Industry. The
course structure creates an environment for student-centered learning through
the use of formal case studies, student-developed cases, practical exercises, and
simulated project situations. Rather than a passive listening experience, Strategy
Bridge courses require that students actively evaluate materials and determine
the cause and effect and the lessons learned from each situation. Students then
consolidate the lessons learned into principles for the creation of processes, tools,
and techniques that apply to their specific needs.
The Strategy Bridge team is proud of our track record of bringing value to our
clients and partners by assisting them in improving their bottom-line performance
through targeted project and team interventions, tailored workshops, and world-
class training programs. Our seasoned, credentialed staff members have held
key leadership positions in many Government and Industry projects and
organizations, and they leverage this experience in relating to clients. Our
instructors and consultants are systems engineering and project management
subject matter experts with decades of experience designing, developing, and
delivering courses and development programs, and they possess the skills
necessary to help your team achieve success.
