FRL UNIT An FRL unit is comprised of a filter (F), regulator (R), and a lubricator (L). The three components work together to do the following: Filters remove water, dirt and other harmful debris from an air system. This is often the first step in improving the air quality. Regulators adjust and control the air pressure of a system to ensure that down-line components do not exceed their maximum operating pressures. This is the second step in the FRL system. Lubricators reduce the internal friction in tools or equipment by releasing a controlled mist of oil into the compressed air. This is often done last and/or right before the component needing lubrication.

PNEUMATIC SERVICE UNITS / FRL UNIT
SERVICE UNIT (FRL UNIT) is consisting of filter,
regulator and lubricator, are intended for cleaning
compressed air for workshop purposes from liquid
and solid contamination, for pressure regulation and
for providing a fine oil spray for the lubrication for
cylinders, valves, pneumatic tools etc.
When service unit is used correctly and in accordance
with the respective operating condition, they
maintain the performance level of pneumatic plant
and increase its service life.
The function of SERVICE UNIT is to remove dust
particles, moisture, humidity etc. from the
compressed air. There several parts in an air service
unit which is also called an air preparation system.

it is delivered to the pneumatic components

2.Pressure Regulator:
allows us to regulate pressure manually

 To reduce the air supply pressure.
 To keep the outlet pressure constant even if the
outlet air supply pressure fluctuates.
 Input (Inlet) pressure must be greater than the
output pressure.
3.Lubricator:
provides lubrication for pneumatic components.
