Since September 2016, Christopher Mingoia has been working as the North Arlington High School Principal. He has developed a partnership with Bergen Community College that allows students to attain up to an Associate’s Degree in a college setting while still in high school. He works under the general supervision of the Superintendent and/or Superintendent Designee, who is responsible for carrying out the guidance and direction of the Board of Education.

4. Role and responsibilities as the
Principal
As the Principal of the school, Christopher Mingoia performs a
number of duties that include -
•Assisting instructional staff with alignment of a new NJSLS
curriculum, instruction and assessment with state and local district
learning goals.
•Redesigning and implementing a curriculum and instructional
program
•He prioritizes effective teaching by visiting classrooms regularly
and working with teachers on instructional issues.

5. Christopher’s Education
•In June 1999, Christopher received his Bachelor of Arts in Health
and Physical Education.
•He received Physical Education/Health, NJ Certification in
Physical Education/Health.
•In December 2003, he did his Master in Art of Teaching.
•He completed 32 Advanced Masters Credits from Fresno Pacific
University in Physical Education and Health Sciences in April
2005.

•In July 2008, he received NJ Excel Program School
Administrators Principal Certification.

Christopher Mingoia also provided baseball, basketball and
soccer coaching.
•From 2000 to 2006, he was the Head Middle School Soccer
Coach.
•From 2002-2006, he was the Head Middle School Girls
Basketball Coach

Coach.
