THANKS FOR OUR VISITORS – November brings Thanksgiving Day, when we thank God for all he does for us. We
are thankful for those who visit our worship services to celebrate our Lord and ask that you let us know you were here;
please fill out the Fellowship Pad (it’s in the hymnal rack) with today’s date, your name, address, phone #, etc.
TODAY IS LOYALTY SUNDAY – Today we make our annual re-commitment to the Lord’s work here and our
sacrificial gifts toward that cause. If needed, pledge forms can be found in the Narthex. We have a faith-based budget,
therefore what the family of Our Saviour places on their pledge cards plays a role in crafting the church budget.
PANCAKE AND PORKIE BREAKFAST TODAY – Please come to eat in the gym from 8am-11am. Enjoy a great
meal and fellowship. A free will offering will be taken; all proceeds will be used to purchase new kitchen equipment. It
will be another great meal…we don’t let you down! No reservations necessary!!
BUDGET READY FOR REVIEW – The 2011 proposed church budget is now available. It is currently posted on the
bulletin board outside of the church office. Please study it closely; all comments and suggestions are welcome! The
budget will be approved at the voters meeting on December 12.
LWML NEWS – The mites collected today go to missions in Wisconsin, in the U.S., and throughout the world, such as
shipping quilts for Lutheran World Relief and Arabic Worship materials for Sudan. Not one cent stays with our local
group. Empty your box, take it back home, and fill it up again. We are so blessed to be part of such huge mission projects!
2011 OFFICER/BOARD NOMINATIONS NEEDED – Please notify President Mike Charles to nominate someone for
one of the following positions: President-Elect; Treasurer; Evangelism Board Chair; Stewardship Board Chair; Trustees
Board Chair. The President Elect serves 3 years (Elect, Current and Emeritus); all other positions are 2 year terms.
(NOTE: The annual voters’ meeting/election is scheduled for December 12 at 10am.)
SUNDAY SCHOOL NEEDS – Three (3) teachers for Pre-K / Kindergarten and one (1) teacher for the Fifth Grade are
still needed. If you are able to help out, please contact Julie Rusch at 406-9077.
HIS LOVE – OUR RESPONSE – As mentioned last month, our theme for 2011 is “His Love–Our Response”. If you
would like to lend a hand to assist with events and accessories [Banners and such] to this theme, please tell Pastor Dave.

2. NURSERY AND SUNDAY SCHOOL ARE OPEN – Sunday School registration forms are in the office hallway; please
complete and send it to class with your child (children age 4 to 6th
grade are dismissed to class after the children’s sermon
at the 9:15 service). The nursery in the basement is open 9am to 10:30am for those toddling thru age 3; ask an usher if you
need assistance. Check out our new pager system which will quietly alert you of any issues while you are in church.
CHRISTMAS WREATH SALE – Our Saviour Cub Scout Pack 4070 will be taking orders for Christmas wreaths after
church today. The cost of each wreath is $10; payment must accompany all orders. Wreaths will be delivered to Our
Saviour for pick up on Sunday, December 5.
COME TO YOUTH NIGHT! – Wednesdays at 3pm on Confirmation Class nights. Confirmation students (and 6th
graders) stay until 6pm. Senior High youth can stay until 7:30pm. Have fun, get homework help and eat a $3 meal.
VOTER’S MEETING – December 12 at 10am: Come to elect Council positions and church officers. We all need to be
reminded that this is our congregation and His church. We are called to be good stewards of it, and part of that is our
joyful participation in its governance. We hope to see everyone at this brief but vital voter’s meeting.
CHRISTMAS EVE HAS 4 SERVICES! – We are pleased to announce an additional Praise Service at 1:30pm on
Christmas Eve; this is in addition to the regular 3:30pm (Praise) and 5:30/7:30pm (Traditional) services. Please plan to
join us at the service that best fits your family’s schedule.
WORSHIP ON DECEMBER 25/26 – Our (Saturday) Christmas Day service will be at 10am. On Sunday, Dec. 26, we
will hold three services as usual at 7:45, 9:15 and 10:45am. There will be no Sunday School or nursery on this day.
CANTATA – N.E.W. Lutheran High’s Cantata is coming to Our Saviour. Come on, crawl out of bed early and fill the
house for this special concert-like worship service! December 5 at 7:45am
ORDER A LUTHERAN STUDY BIBLE – The order form is on the bulletin board in the office hallway. Savings on
various covers, styles, sizes, etc. Orders are due by November 30. Bibles make great special occasion gifts!
ADVENT SERMON SERIES – "Jesus - There Is More Than Meets The Eye": Join us for our Advent worship services
[Thursday December 2nd and 9th]. We will learn about the "Two Natures of Christ", as He is both the "Son of God" and
the "Son of Man". Jesus is God in human flesh. He is not half God and half man. He is fully Divine and fully man. In
other words, Jesus has two distinct natures: Divine and human. December 2nd - Jesus as The Son of God; December 9th,
Jesus, the Son of Man. Worship times are 12:15pm and 7pm Thursdays. Oh, and don't forget, the Live Nativity (evening
of December 16) is one of our Advent services too!
NEW LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL – OPEN HOUSE – NEW Lutheran High School is holding an Open House on
Thursday, November 18th from 6:30-8:30pm. For more information please contact the school office at 469-6810. Our
school is growing - come and find out why! Moms and Dads, could there be a better high school option?
MEMORIAL GIFT CARDS AVAILABLE – Are you looking for a way to memorialize a friend or relative? The
Gideons offers a sympathy card to send to the family with information on the donation you made to The Gideons in their
loved one’s name. The cards include the donation form and envelope to mail your donation directly to The Gideons.
BETHESDA THRIFT SHOP IS CLOSING THEIR DOORS – Everything in the store is at least 50% off now until the
last day of business, December 4. Hours are Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm and on Saturday from 10am-3pm.
HEARTLAND HOSPICE – Is looking for individuals interested in being friendly visitor companion volunteers in the
Green Bay area. Time required is very flexible and based on your availability. Contact Rebecca Busch at (866) 631-3149

RING THOSE BELLS – The Salvation Army is once again looking for volunteers for the Christmas season. Bell-ringers
can sign up online at www.ringbells.org. Workers (18 and older) are needed for gift distribution on December 21 and 22
(groups must sign up by December 6). Food donations are also requested to fill their food pantry; cereal, pasta and all-in-
one dinners are always needed. Contact volunteer coordinator, Ryan Dreier, at 593-2375 if you have questions.
