ABSTRACT Chapter 9: “A new job” Bridget had a job but her exboyfriend was her boss,so, her mother found a new job in television as a journalist. Bridget is the typical person that, everybody laugh about her because always she is doing graceful things but she never wants to do it. She was very nervous with her first day at the new job. At morning, her mother called her to wish luck. Bridget came at work and her boss sent her at the firemen´s station to interview a fireman. when she was there, her workmate told us that when he started filming, she had to slide down the fireman´s pole. Down the pole, was the fireman. when se was going down, a shoe struck him on the fireman! All the world, saw the program and Bridget was very shame.

BIOGRAPHY Helen Fielding She was born in the north of England (Yorkshire) in 1958. She worked as a journalist in a newspaper for ages, but she always wanted writed a  novel.she wrote her first novel, Cause Celeb in 1994, but she preferred to write a novel which the main character was a single woman, so, she wrote, Bridget Jones. She is an ordinary woman with real-life problems. Today she works full-time as a novelist and lives in London. Some people think that Helen Fielding is Bridget Jones, and she is writing about her own life but this is not true. In addition, a movie had been doneabout this book.

I have felt very identified with it because I am a single girl and always, it,s happens me somethins embarrased.”  Mgrady.S “Sincerely, I don´t like the book and the reason is that, I think that the book is very subrealist. I don’t believe  that, in the world exist a girl as Bridget. She is a girl with very bad luck and it´s imposisble.” Smith.J
CORRECTIONS “The book is very funny, I had never known a book with this style!I I’ve only just read the book, but I want to see the movie now!” Grifield.P “The book is a part of my life. I have felt very identified with it because I am a single girl and I also tend to find myself in embarrassing situations”.  Mgrady.S “Sincerely, I don´t like the book and the reason is that I think that it is very surrealistic. I don’t believe  that you can, in the wide world , find a girl like Bridget. She is incredibly unlucky and that´s too far-fetched.” Smith.J OK-6. Still struggling with intermediate vocabulary and structures.
