My Reading Reflection

1. The Mysterious Benedict Society
andthe Perilous Journey

2. This Week I have carried on reading
the book the Mysterious Benedict
Society and the Perilous Journey. It
is a great story so far. What has
happened in the book since the
beginning is that all the children
meet and are meant to have a big
surprise waiting for them but then Mr.
Benedict goes missing and the four
kids set off to find him. It turns out
that the surprise was to do on a
special planned mission where the
children have to follow clues to find
Mr. Benedict but then he goes missing
so they follow the clues. The first
clue takes them to a boat, the second
to a castle, they third to a museum,
the fourth to a hotel and the fifth to
a boat doc.

3. In the pages I have read this week I
have really liked the parts where they
are fighting against two Ten Men when
it turns out that one is Milligan and
he takes them to this small abandoned
house, the part when Milligan tells
them all that they can’t come with him
while he goes to distract the Ten Man
outside a bout where he is guarding a
prisoner and the part when they are
talking to the man who has been taking
prisoner and he gats really, really,
really mad at them. I have really
liked these parts because they have
kept me reading and they are very
interesting to read.

4. In the pages I have read this week the
parts that I have not liked are when
they find out that the woman at the
desk called the Ten Men when the
children arrived because I think that
even though she was forced to do it
she still shouldn’t of done it. I also
didn’t like the part where Milligan is
in the car and he is trying to be
serious but the children start
laughing because it was a life and
death situation he was talking about
but they just made a joke about it!
