My hard news stories potential target market is the working class who
probably do not agree with the governments policies at this present
time due to the government being Conservative and the working class
are usually supporters of Labour. This is why this is the sub group they
would fall into.

The reason gothic culture is the sub culture for my soft news story is because this story
is mainly targeted at people who are interest in rock. People who like rock are usually
stereotyped to be quite gothic and wear back and have lots of piercing’s.

The reason the ‘teddy girls’ are the sub culture of my target audience young
females is because teddy girls were the girls of the 1950’s who began to break out
from the traditional woman and began to have interests in fashion and go to the
cinema, doing things women never really did. Teddy Girls shaped the girls of
today.
