November 2009 Dear Parents; On Friday, December 4, 2009 fourth grade students of Shirley Hills Primary School will be taking a special field trip to Minneapolis. 5263515113665Here is a schedule of the day’s happenings: 10:45 am – Load buses and leave Shirley Hills School 11:35 am - Minnesota Orchestra concert, “Hansel and Gretel!” 12:35 pm – Students eat their bag lunch on the bus. 1:15 pm - Tour at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts 2:15 pm - Return to Shirley Hills in time for dismissal We have a few tickets for parents from each classroom to attend this performance. Your child’s teacher will contact the parent chaperones. Since Orchestra Hall does not allow for any complimentary tickets we are asking the volunteers to pay $5.00 for their ticket. (Checks may be made payable to Shirley Hills Primary School.) Remember your child needs a bag lunch and a healthy snack on this day! Thank you!
