Course Overview:
Math 11 CST is a continuation of the concepts learned in previous years; especially the Grade 9
curriculum content. We will be building on prior knowledge while learning new and interesting topics. Math
plays an important role in a person’s social, political and cultural development. Students are responsible
for work missed during absences.
C1: Solves a situational problem (30%) – be able to relate math concepts to real life scenarios
C2: Uses mathematical reasoning (70%) – be able to analyze a situation and solve it using the most
effective math methods
