The document discusses various technologies the author learned while creating projects for their coursework. They used Photoshop to design a magazine cover, learning skills like editing photos and creating 3D text effects. With Illustrator, they learned how to use tools to create a unique masthead, though found it difficult to use at times. InDesign taught skills like layer control, photo editing, and double page layout. Blogger allowed embedding other tools and easy editing. Prezi helped present their magazine ideas in an engaging way. They also learned photography equipment and lighting techniques when taking photos for their projects. Some photos came out darker than planned due to their model's fair skin tone.
2. Timetoast was advantageous when it came to
enabling me methodize my schedule for my blog,
the deadlines for my course work, this technology
prevented me from missing my deadlines.
Furthermore timetoast inculcate me on how to
adjust deadlines when I was given extra time to
develop my coursework.
3. I used Photoshop to design the front cover of
my magazine, Urban. During the process of
making my cover I learnt a lot of new skills
prior to my GSCE level. Some of the new
skills that I learnt are; editing photos,
doubling up words to give it a 3D effect. All
of these skills allowed me to make my
magazine look more professional.
Additionally I learnt how structured and align
my cover lines, making it look more
professional.
4. I used illustrator to create my mastehead. In
a class introduction. I learnt how to use
illustrator, and how to use different tools ang
shape to make a masthead. On a whole I did
find using illustrator difficult because when
revisiting to edit my masthead the setting
and tools where either difficult to use or
were hard to find. Nonetheless through
Illustrator I learnt how create simple unique
texts, I also learnt how to morph and how to
add shape to text, this allowed me to create
my unique masthead.
5. I used InDesign to create my contents page and
my double page spread. During the process of
making my dps and my contents page I learnt a
few new technique such as; repositioning text
and how to control the layers. I learnt how to
control my colour pallet. I also learnt how to add
shadows to my text and shapes too. Using
InDesign taught me how to alter pictures without
having any blur.
Whilst using Indesign I learnt different skills on
how to make double spread in particular look
professional. A prim example of this would
aligning my subheading and my text on a page
the way a real dps should be lay out.
6. Blogger helped my to present my coursework
in a professional and organised way. Whilst
using blogger I learnt how to embed different
technology such as prezi, emaze etc. Blogger
allowed my to alter my work an example of
this would be if my teacher believe that I
needed to make adjustments to coursework,
I could easily go to blogger and adjust my
work without the date and time being
changed.
7. Prezi allowed me to show off my magazine,
my ideas and my plans in a fun, stylish and
interesting way. When presenting my
magazine I used prezi as I could break my
magazine down and explain every aspect of
it in a unique. Prezi is more digital suitable
for my task
8. Before we had our photo-shoot, we were given an
introduction on how to use the equipment and the cameras
in the room. The teacher taught us how to control the
lighting when taking pictures. We also learnt how to use
the different cameras available such as the Nikon D700.
We also learnt a few terminology's
Prior to my photo-shoot, I had invite my closes friend from
another school to come in and be my model. When she
came I was really excited, when the shoot started I was
really nervous and I did forget how to use the equipment,
so I fetch for my note book and with some help with a
friend from college, I began to feel comfortable. Some of
my pictures did come out with a slightly darker than the
suited genre or than I had plan this is due to the skin tone
of my model. My model is very fair therefore if I had turn
up the lighting her face would be bleach out
