Let’s first focus on the pupils’ answers….
Question 1 : did you travel this summer ? Yes :  78 % Whow, that is a lot !! No  :  22 %
Question 2 : If you stayed home,what did you do ? -  Hang around with my friends Many answers were given. Most popular : -  Swimmingpool -  Daytrips -  Going out
Question 3 : destination Many countries, most popular : !!  30 % 14 % 22 % 6 % 14 % 10 %   2,7 % 1,3 % 2 remaining partner countries in the project .... And the percentage ?

Question 5 : Type of accomodation Camping : 28,66% Appartement : 26,33% Hotel :  20%   Rented house: 14% Bed and breakfast: 5,33% Camper: 4,42%

Question 6 : Type of transport Car : 65,33% Plane: 9,33% Bus: 9,33% Train: 5,33% Others: 10,68%

Question 7 : What type of places did you visit ? A lot of variety.... Most mentioned : -beach : more than 50% !! -monuments -swimming pool -old city center -theme park -museum -natural beauty -zoo
Question 8 : Did you travel with your parents? Why not? 74,66% with parents Those who travelled alone had permission to travel with friends to a destination in the Netherlands or with friends parents. 18,66% with parents and without 6,66% without parents
Question 9 : Use of foreign languages ? Which ones? 72% : yes 28% : no
Languages spoken : 86% !!!! 33,33% 20% 14,66% More than 100% because some pupils have used several languages.
Question 10 : Souvenirs Most bought : something typical of the country or region. Further : clothes, watches ( copies also!!) Also : (cheap)  jewellery, sunglasses.
Question 11 : Dreamholiday destination Well.......... Almost 100%  .................
Question 12 : Favourite schoolholidays Summer holidays : 70% Christmasholidays : 20% Carnival holidays : 6% Other : 4%

Questions 13  and 14: Length of holidays. These questions are really stupid ! Of course we need our holidays and they are not too long. P.S. Only 1 pupil said that holidays are too long, so probably his parents have filled in this question !!

Question 3  : do you mind speaking  a foreign language during holidays ? Yes : 25% No !!
Question 4  : are holidays too long for your children ? Yes :  22,5% No : 77,5%
These are the conclusions after our survey. We are curious to learn about the results of the other schools. The pupils of year 3 of Porta Mosana Maastricht.
