HYPOTHESIS <ul><li>GROUP’S END-OF-YEAR TRIP: </li></ul><ul><li>both groups prefer to go abroad </li></ul><ul><li>- Spaniards also chose to visit another part of our country. </li></ul><ul><li>MONEY IS NOT A PROBLEM: </li></ul><ul><li>Both groups choose to stay in a five star hotel or go on an adventure holiday. </li></ul><ul><li>MONEY IS A PROBLEM: </li></ul><ul><li>Dutch and French prefer to go camping somewhere with beautiful scenery </li></ul><ul><li>- Spanish students prefer to stay at home, read and go to the cinema. </li></ul>

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS <ul><li>Many people are beginning to travel in many different ways, not just for the destination but for the journey. </li></ul><ul><li>Some young people travel by public transport (train or bus) or car with their bicycle or just for a walking holiday for the scenery, to enjoy nature. </li></ul><ul><li>The great majority of both groups has never travelled for these reasons </li></ul>

THE 80’s <ul><li>They started to own a second home : at the seaside, in their native towns or in the countryside , where they spent most of their holiday time. </li></ul><ul><li>Spaniards started travelling abroad massively only in summer, usually for a week.   23. 23. NOWADAYS <ul><li>Spaniards travel abroad even more often and to other continents, not just Europe, not only in summer but at other holiday times. </li></ul><ul><li>They stay for one or two weeks. </li></ul>
  24. 24. <ul><li>Renting a house is becoming very popular especially with children. </li></ul><ul><li>- Swapping homes is starting to be popular too . </li></ul><ul><li>- Also they stay at their second home for the rest of the holiday period </li></ul>
