Method is the technique employed by the
researcher to frame questions, collect and organize
data.

 Methodology is not just method.
 Methodology is the critical approach used to interpret the data
collected.
 Methodology is the mingling of both qualitative and quantitative.
Methodology:
• Political position of researcher.
• Epistemological approach of researcher.
• Interpretive strategies of researcher.
• Philosophical approach of researcher

If we are studying representations of women
with feministic perspective. so, the first step in
‘Method’ is-
1. To know about some very prominent
feminist writer of the ‘past’ and ‘present’ .
2. To collect all possible references with you.
3. To prepare aspect able question.
4. To conduct the interview.

Identifying your own ideology.
e. g Feminist ideologist Julia Kristeva.
Reflecting on your experiences before framing
the questions.
Interpreting the data collected based on your
