Het doel van Amsterdam Marketing is de citymarketing voor Metropool Amsterdam als geïntegreerde activiteit uit te voeren, waarbij wij ons richten op nationale en internationale bewoners, bedrijven, bezoekers en beïnvloeders. Citymarketing is een belangrijk middel om de economische positie van Metropool Amsterdam te versterken. Zij kan het imago van de stad bij buitenstaanders en bewoners positief beïnvloeden en het gevoel van trots en waardering versterken. Om dat te realiseren werken wij samen met publieke en private organisaties, culturele instellingen en universiteiten.
  4. Creativiteit, innovatie en handelsgeest zijn de drie kernwaarden van Amsterdam. Zij vormen het DNA van de stad en symboliseren haar unieke karakter en zijn relevant voor verleden, heden en toekomst. Het merk wordt sterk en eenduidig in de markt gezet onder het gezamenlijke motto I amsterdam.
  5. Amsterdam Marketing voert haar activiteiten uit in het belang van de gehele metropool. In eerste instantie richten wij ons op de primaire doelgroepen van citymarketing; bewoners, bezoekers en bedrijven.De bewoners van Metropool Amsterdam zijn onze ambassadeurs en gastheren. Onder bezoekers vallen toeristische en zakelijke bezoekers uit Nederland en het buitenland. Bedrijven betreffen Nederlandse en buitenlandse organisaties die investeren in Metropool Amsterdam of zich hier vestigen vanwege het gunstige vestigingsklimaat.Om de primaire doelgroepen te bereiken, spelen daarnaast beïnvloeders een belangrijke rol. Dit zijn intermediaire partijen zoals media, PCO’s (professional congress organizers) en touroperators.
