2.  In computing, web application or web app is
a client- server software application in which
the client(or user interface) runs in a web
browser.
 Common web applications include webmail,
online retail sales, online auctions, wikis,
instant messaging services and many other
functions.

3.  The hotpotatoes software suite includes six
applications that can create exercise for the
world wide web. The applications are,
 Jcloze
 Jcross
 Jmatch
 Jmix
 Jquiz
 There is also a sixth application called Tha
Masher, that will compile all the hotpotatoes
exercise into one unit.

4.  Hotpotatoes was created by Research and
Development team at the University of
Victoria Humanities Computing and Media
Centre.
 The hot potatoes suite includes six
applications, enabling you to create
interactive multiple- choice, short- answer,
jumbled-sentences ,crossword, matching/

wide web.

Funtrivia, OkCupid, Sporcle and Quizlet.

6.  Blog quizzes (also known as quiz blog) refer
to a specific genre of quizzes which are
conducted by the quizzes on blogs.
 Blog quizzes may be about a wide range of
other topics.

7.  Some companies and schools use online
quizzes as a means to educate their
employees or students respectively.
 Popular websites hosting quizzes for this
purpose include Quizlet and Revision Quiz
Maker.

quizzes, make quizzes in multiple languages, access from
any internet- connected computer, allow students to
complete and review.
 Articulate quizmaker:- Articulate quizmaker is a software
application that can be used for creating tests and
questionaires. It is primarily designed for creating on-line
tests and questionaires, although output can also be to
paper or a number of other output streams.
