2. My costume choice
This is the costume we as a group have
decided to go forward with as it’s the costume
that shows off the artists attitude the most
and suit our genre of pop. As our music video
is very relaxed I feel that the digipak and
advertisement should mirror this, by using
this costume it will display ancillary.
Costume on next slide.
4. Influences from the same genre
Rihanna has broaden
to a pop artist this
particular costume is
from the song ‘We
Found Love’ this has
inspired Sanaa main
costume choice as its
casual and helps
strength my decision in
having a casual jean
jacket outfit as the
main image of my
digipak and
advertisement.
5. Influences from the same genre
Katy B throughout all
her music video’s is
casual and she
shares the same
teenager/young adult
audience as Sanaa.
Therefore I know that
this is something the
audience can relate
to and also has been
successful for other
artists.
6. Influences from the same genre
Cheryl cole’s outfit is from
her song ‘Fight For This
Love’ this video shares
different costumes but this
particular one is fun and
also easy for audience to
purchase similar and
relate to. Also this is shot
in a studio which supports
my choice of strongly
wanting to use studio
shots.
7. Influences from the same genre
Rita Ora’s song R.I.P is a big influence in all the choices I have
made throughout this whole media production process and in her
early stages she strongly used her motif to promote her and was
the one thing everyone recognised her for, which is what I would
like to convey with Sanaa. This outfit is very casual and displays
the artists attitude and this is exactly my initial idea when creating
my ancillary products.
8. Pop genre overall
The pop genre displays many casual
costumes and therefore makes me feel
confident in displaying my artist Sanaa
through casual wear. This is because
our target audience is a younger fan
base and this will make a better
connection.
