OUR VISION
To truly be the Church on the hill with the CROSS,
reaching out to the Gem Valley and beyond to the whole
world. We believe all generations need the Gospel, and
have a special concern for the younger generations to
come to Christ, and to His Church. Hence, we will re-
main committed to effective ministry to all age groups;
but we will specifically strive to strengthen our ministry
to youth, as God grants us opportunity.

WORLD MISSION PRAYERS
PRAISES
Praise the Lord for the report from the North Andean Field in South
America about the summer camps held in Venezuela for youth, mid-
dle school, children and their families during August. The camps were
held at Campamento Jiraquito near Caracas, the capital of Vene-
zuela. More than 50 young people responded to the call of God upon
their lives.
PRAY FOR
The Church in Seréer villages in West Africa is growing.
Land was donated and a church and training center built
with Alabaster funds and other mission offerings. Ministry
that trains women how to sew and embroider so they can
make clothes for their families is on-going. Fellowships in
eight villages are developing through the efforts of the JE-
SUS Film and drilling fresh water wells. The local villagers
have been extremely involved in helping build the church
and they continue to evangelize – village to village. Pray for
the Seréer Nazarenes as they share their faith so that the
people in their surrounding communities will know the love
of Christ.
Pray for those who are struggling with life in the Appala-
chian area of the U.S.A. A Compassionate Ministry Confer-
ence will take place on September 27-28 in Ripley, West
Virginia, so leaders can learn how to best serve the Appala-
chian people.
This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good
for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.”
