Legal and ethical issues
Protection of children in this advert is important because no harmful warrants can be done or unsafe practices to the children in this advert.
Obscene law act. They have this so people don’t put rude or offensive things about children in this advert
Libel
If you print in magazine an advert you shouldn’t put offensive or obscene information or pictures Libel is when you write offensive things in
a magazine and it offends the target audience who is reading the magazine at that time might not buy it again or sue the magazine
company for saying things e.g. about race or gender etc. and to not have attacks against them or unjustified attacks on the public.
And writing information that they don’t want anyone to see on the magazine because that is invading their privacy. Can be libel if
they put false information about different genders or people characters that might be offensive and might get sued.
Slander
Slander is word by mouth and if someone says something offensive in an advert or to a person it might be offensive to the people who might
sue the company for saying things about e.g. race gender and age.

5. Make a wish foundation
• Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we were able
to grant the wish of eight year old Molly, who lives with
Stage IV Wilms’ Tumour (a type of kidney cancer), and
wished to appear as an extra on her favourite show,
CBBC’s Tracy Beaker Returns.
• This year over 1,000 families will turn to us and we
desperately want to be able to grant the wishes of all
those children.
• Your donation will help us make those dreams a reality
and give families precious moments together.
• The money you are about to donate will grant wishes
for some very special children in the United Kingdom.
