This production proposal summarizes an interview that will be conducted with Eve McCarthy, who works for the production company Park Village. The 10-15 minute interview will discuss Eve's job and the day-to-day operations of a production studio. Park Village is known for its work with artists like The Kooks and Justin Bieber as well as large companies like Nike and Adidas. The target audience for this informative entertainment piece are aspiring individuals between ages 15-21 who are interested in learning about the film production process and what it takes to work with famous stars.
2. Synopsis of My Idea
My interview will solely discuss the workings of a
production studio and the day-to-day things working for a
production company entails. This will be in the format of
informative and entertainment purposes.
3. For my interview I decided to interview Eve
McCarthy who works for a production
company called Park Village.
Park Village is a production company, who
also have a subsidiary company called Able
and Baker, Founded in the 70’s by
photographer and BAFTA award winning
Director Peter Webb.
Best known for talent over a broad range of
disciplines within the world of media and
advertising.
Whether web content, music videos or
television commercials their ethos is to
ensure creativity and production values are
always at the forefront of their service.

This will allow me more than enough time to ask open
questions.
This will allow my interviewee to expand their answers and
thus helps to have more of a topic to discuss.
Enough time to explain Eve’s job and explore further into this
topic.
Go over each of her points in great detail and look into
secondary detail.
Discussing previous films/ads that she was part of. Also, her
interests and activities/hobbies/jobs.
Exploration of what has led to working at Park Village.
5. Purpose of Interview
The reason for this is so my audience can see how hectic and
exciting it can be to work on set, this will also interest my audience
as a production company has to work with big clients whom may
interest the public. E.g The Kooks, Justin Bieber, Wilkinson, Charli
XCX, Connor Maynard as well as big companies such as Nike,
Adidas and so forth.
This gave me the initial hint that my target audience are interested
in the workings of a production and what it takes to make a music
video, advert or film than merely watching it.
My audience are interested in seeing how much it takes to be on
set and work with big stars, to most likely wish to aspire to have
the glamorous famous lifestyle and having an insight of what it's
like to be famous as well as their lifestyle.
6. Target Audience
15-21 year olds
The target audience for this factual/entertainment
programme will be people between the ages of 14-26.
Aspirers are the key psychographics I’m aiming this
toward. I feel like this age range is the appropriate age
where people can still aspire to great things they want to
achieve as it can be a motivational boost in a sense.
Those who are interested in the clients Park Village have
worked with The Kooks, Justin Bieber, Wilkinson, Charli
XCX, Nike, Adidas.
Those interested in film and productions.
