The role of
             silence
           in improvisation

Improvisation is great training for better listening and coöperation.
IF there's enough silence and space between the “ideas” to connect.

Applied Improvisation:
the us of improvisation off stage, to raise skills like
adaptiveness
deep listening
awareness
generative communication powers
Seeing possibilities
Be confident that the story is already there.
Just Be. Be aware.

                                  ACCEPT
                                  ENJOY
                                  EMBRACE

                                  the unexpected
                                  the stuff others bring in

Let it come in and sink
                                  deep enough to
                                  transformate and enrich
                                  your idea.
RESPONDING
   instead of

 REACTING
    to go to

 CREATING
It's not about bringing things in balance.
It's about the ACT of balancING

Out of your comfort zone the magic happens.

            Pushing the swing:
enhance the movement by Think inside the box.
going a little bit along before Be aware of what is
going to the next stage. there. “Take the small
Taking things “in” before the next step everyone
next expression. can say yes to.”
                                              Great jumps outside
                                              the box happens when
                                              you know what's IN
                                              the box.
Choosing doens' always have to come
 from comparison, judgement, the rational.
Learn to choose from the heart.
 Learn sometimes to decide without
 choosing first with your head.

“Your feet are smarter” Stephen Sim
If you're listening,
                                             you're already improvising.
You can define two kinds of impro:
impro coming from ideas (quickly
bouncing against each other).
or impro coming from collaboration
Where-in the story unfolds itself
(referring to Randy Dixon)

                    “Do I look smart now?”
Does this make sense? Have to be
                                                                    quick, witty
                    KNOW YOUR BLOCKERS !!
They ruine the space/silence wherein the magic happens.

“Have to be “Wanna look good..”
                   prepared!!”
