CLAP Conference | Social Impact of Digital Media
At the Open Days of the University of the Arts, Bremen - February 11-12th, 2012
The CLAP Conference will be part of the annually open days at the University of the
Art Bremen. It brings together scientists and artist from different disciplines, to
create an approach to the Social Impact of Digital Media.
In the last decades, Digital Media had a striking effect on our perception and our handling
of the world. Digital Media cast their influence in all thinkable fields of life. It is not possible
to capture their implications from only one perspective. To consider the social impact of
Digital Media, the CLAP Conference connects diverse points of view from different fields
of art, design and science.
With this invitation we call for students, professors and professionals who are interested
to contribute to the discussion: Each of them will have between five and thirty minutes to
present their project or research.
We would be glad to add you to our list of speakers / performers.
