1. What is NDLM (National Digital Literacy Mission)
NDLM (National Digital Literacy Mission) or DISHA (The Digital Saksharta Abhiyan) the plan has been
launched to give training to 5.25 lakh persons in the IT Sector, which will include Anganwadi, Asha
Workers and Authorized ration dealers in all the states across the country. The scheme has been
launched so that non IT illiterate person can get literate in the IT field and this will help them to work
effectively for the development of the country and help them enhancing their livelihood.
NDLM Motive
This will help them using digital smart devices easily i.e. phones, laptops, computers and internet
services etc.
NDLM Center Benefits
For the Scheduled caste and scheduled caste people r (SC / ST / BPL) an amount of rs350/- will be paid
for the Learner to the center.
General category learner an amount of rs 225 / - will be paid to the center as well General category
Learner has to pay a sum of Rs125 / - as a registration fees that will remain with the Centre.
This is a good opportunity for all to take training under government project launched as National Digital
Literacy Mission (NDLM).
The information for the plan is like this:
1. The scheme is to literate the people of India digitally.
2. In this mission any person can get connect as this is for all the people living in India.
3. It is compulsory that learner should lie between the ages of 14-60 years.
4. The course duration will be of 20 hours in which the training will be given from computer via internet
5. Minimum time given for the training will be 10 days and maximum up to 20 days.
6. The certificate will be given through NIELIT (DOEACC Society).
7. For this you have register your centre from us, and you will be provided a registration code from
which you can register the learner.
8. None of the training fee will be taken from the SC/ST /BPL category learner. Partner will get Rs 500 for
SC/ST/BPL category and Rs 375 for the General Category. Apart from this a sum of Rs 125 will be taken
as a registration fee from the general category student.
9 BPL category students need to update their BPL card on portal during Registration.
10 it is necessary to have an Aadhar Card for the entire learner.
2. 11 BIOMETRIC MACHINES & WEBCAM is important during the examination time of the students.
12. you can avail this scheme in all the official languages of India.

Training Levels
There are two levels to get trained in NDLM (National Digital Literacy Mission) scheme.
1. Digital Literacy Appreciation (Level 1) – The main motive of this level to make a person IT
literate, so that they can easily operate digital devices.
Course duration will be of 20 hours consisting of minimum 10 days and maximum 20 days.
2. Digital Literacy Basics (Level 2) – Beside 1 Level the learner will also get a chance to trainee
themselves to access E-Governance services.
