This document outlines the Jwalamukhi initiative, which aims to build an "Awakened India" through social, environmental, and civic awareness and action. The initiative is led by a team of experts who will mentor students to raise awareness on issues like corruption, pollution, poverty and illiteracy. Students will work on templates related to these issues and reflect on their experiences. The goal is for each mentored student to train their classmates, cascading the messages to more students. A pilot program will run from November 2009 to February 2010 across five schools to directly impact 25 students as the first group.
