How Is Life Unfair
"If life is unfair to everyone, does that make it fair?"
Thinking about life, we all know that life is the most important thing that we have right now.
Without life, we are nothing.Have you ever asked yourself what the purpose of your existence is?
Why you're here? Some say that life has no meaning, but others say there is. They believe that our
life was already written and destined. Everything happens to us for a reason. But what is life? Why
do we have to feel the sufferings and challenges? Why do they say that "just do your best" even
though it's still not enough? Why is life unfair? I asked one of my friends what life is for him, he
answered, 10% is what happens to you and 90 % is how you react to it. He enlightened me.I started
to think that it is in our hands. The answer is what you think of it.
The challenges of life we face everyday is an endless routine. We wake up everyday doing
something that we don't know what's the use in the end. In order to live, we have to work hard to
sustain our needs. As we go on through our day, we always notice some unfortunate people on the
streets ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You hate your life by thinking that they have it all and you got nothing. You started off thinking that
how about me? What if we're rich too? Was I sleeping when God showered blessings? At some
aspects of life being unfair are the insecurities that we have. You're complaining that they are better
than you. We can't blame that thought. But do you really need to be beautiful just to be fair with
them? Do we really need to be equal and the same as what they have just to be satisfied? Sometimes
the idea of unfairness inside us triggers our mind with anger and fear. Anger due to jealousy of
others abilities and things that we don't have. The fear of not being enough, fear of others might drag
you down, and fear of failing. It is normal. I believe that it is

The Fray's Song 'How To Save A Life'
The challenge many of us often face in life is not how to help ourselves, but how to help others.
Often, people in need of support from others are often unwilling to admit it, or refuse to receive help
in fear that it will inconvenience someone else. Self–preservation is a part of human instinct and
through this we become reluctant to allow others into our lives or to be honest with them. The Fray's
song "How to Save a Life" explores the desperate attempts to save someone else, and the sense of
futility after realizing it was all for nothing. The line "Step one, you say, "We need to talk." He
walks, you say, "Sit down. It's just a talk."" shows the attempts made by a person to save anothers
life, and the stubborn response received in return.

How Divorce Changed My Life
Like any other essay that I've written, about change in my life, I could write about my parents
divorce, which helped me learn how to deal with the constant struggles that followed. I could write
about how it tore me apart, and how hard it was for me moving all the time. All of that would be a
lie. In reality, I was too young to really understand what divorce was. To me, it merely meant
moving in with my favorite family members and not being scared because of my parents fighting
anymore. However, having twelve years passed, I've come to the realization that, my parents divorce
isn't at all what has taught me the most in life. What happened, as a result of my parents splitting up,
is what has impacted me the most.
My father started dating an old family friend about four years after ... Show more content on

As a 13 year old teenager that didn't really know what stability felt like, I still needed a lot of
guidance, so that I could mature.
The guidance, and discipline that my Father and Stepmother provided me with, had both educated
me and humbled me so that I could understand that in life, nothing is ever fair and that everything
comes at a cost. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way.
I remember it was like it was yesterday, I was sitting in the hospital with a muscle infection, playing
on my jailbroken 2nd Gen iPod. It was my second week of sitting in room 243, lying on the same
bed with the same IV in my arm, so as a young technology dependent kid, I tried easing my
boredom by downloading some games onto my iPod. I hadn't yet gotten an Itunes account so
nonetheless, I got my stepmother, Amanda's, card so that I could create my account. Naively, I went
app crazy and started downloading anything intriguing that Apple had to offer. I figured that since I
had a jailbroken iPod, everything was

How to Have a Successful Life
How to Have a Successful Life
1. You must believe in yourself in enough to know you can succeed at anything you put your mind
too. Don't listen to anyone who puts your dreams down or says you can't succeed at what you're
after. You already know you can and you will. 2. Success just doesn't come to you, you have to go
out and take it by the horn. Keep yourself motivated and focused on the prize that lies ahead at the
end of the road. You will eventually reach your goal with a mindset like this. Put in your mind, you
were born to succeed. 3. There might be times things will try and stop you from continuing on your
road to success, but remember never give up on your dream. If you need help along your way, there
are plenty of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You can control your thought by breaking your old thinking habit. First you will have to identify or
get conscious about the thought that you are thinking. And if you found that you are thinking
negatively, try to focus on positive thoughts.
6. Dare Venture Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Some gurus say that if you want to be rich and successful, you need to do things differently.
What I think is, you don't necessarily need to do things differently from others, but you must dare to
venture out of your comfort zone. If you're someone who is shy and timid, try to get out of this
comfort by getting to know more people.
Some people don't dare to do this and this causes them to stuck in where they are forever. Just like if
you're living in a small city and you know that you will not have much opportunity if you stay there.
And if you want to make some big business deals, you must go to big city.
Do you have the courage to do so? Get to a place where nobody knows you and you'll be all alone to
strive for your future. Are you willing to do that? Do you dare? You need courage to go against the
norm and expand your comfort zone to be successful.
7. Network With Other Successful People
Birds of the same feather flock together. How true this is. People who are successful will network
and be together with other successful people. Of course, I'm not suggesting that you leave all your
friends, but what I'm telling you is to join and get to know more successful friends.

How My Life Is Unmanageable
How My Life is Unmanageable With time, my life became unmanageable and chaotic. I tried so
hard to pretend I had it under control. It begun about 4 years ago I was in a pretty bad car accident,
and was hit on my side I was the passenger. I went to see one of the Doctors I worked with, to get
my back checked out. That was probably one of the biggest mistakes of my life. He first started
prescribing me Vicodin I think I used it for about a month but it wasn't taking care of the pain and I
wasn't getting that euphoric feeling I got the first time I took it. I went back to the Doctor
complaining I was still in pain so he prescribed me 120 Percocet, I told him I still had about 100

I said well ok looks like we should get a divorce I was so messed up off of pills I was just numb
looking back at it and talking to Tanya if I would have just fought for her, for my marriage I would
still have her but, I chose my mistress instead because I felt all my wife did was bitch and complain,
as for my mistress (Pills) liked me just how I was and never said a word. But, I can look back now
and I know I was the one who messed up my marriage with my addiction as much as I blamed
Tanya and wanted it to be her fault. I knew inside it was mine maybe I was too high or proud to tell
her at that time. So after getting back to Fort Leonard Wood I started using way more than before
but it wasn't like the old days when I would run out I couldn't get another prescription. So, I met
some people that knew where I could buy them I felt if my bills were getting paid what was the big
deal I isn't hurting anyone but I was killing myself inside. Even after having to buy pills I still felt I
had everything under control, until I got completely cut off from my doctor. Then I started using
Heroin I knew once I put a needle in my arm I had hit rock bottom but I couldn't stop. I mean after I
would pay my bills I would spend the rest on Heroin so about 500–700 every paycheck I would
borrow money from friends and family in between pay periods and have to pay it back next pay
period. So by the time I got paid I was usually broke between 3–5 days later. So the big

events from birth to present. The events in my timeline will describe life events in age related,
history, and non normative. Nonetheless it will further explain how these events impacted my
development cognitively, psychologically, and socially. The events in my life influenced an overall
positive change in my development of my identity currently in my present lifespan.
Influences on my Identity Development
As a child, my upbringing has been the most influential part of my moral and ethical development.

My lifespan was no longer as teenager or a young adult. I was employed, going to college and living
on my own in an apartment, my lifespan had matured in to adulthood, into which I met a man got
engaged and later became a mother This transition at 20 years of age impacted my life greatly
because I no longer, was responsible for myself by another human being was dependent upon me. It
was my responsibility to teach them the necessary things need in life to grow and thrive in society,
academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. In addition to becoming a mother I was also
married, therefore this event of becoming a wife was an additional role to motherhood that would
shape my identity and responsibilities of who I had to become. The event of marriage and childbirth,
made me feel older and more mature. It made me feel I had to become more responsible, and had a
greater sense of expectations from others that I had to achieve at this point in my life.
Now I am currently in a middle age part of my life experience "empty nest syndrome."
This phase of my life span is still shaping my identity. I am now more aware of the importance of
self care and wellness. I know longer find reason or an excuse not to do something that will bring

How Is Frankenstein Related To Life

January 19, 2017 FRANKENSTEIN'S PAPER Life can be approached by different people, different
ways especially in the novel Frankenstein it has different approaches towards life. This gets you
thinking how you approach life how do you really cope with feelings that get thrown at you in life.
"Mary Shelley was daughter of two philosophers Mary Wollstonecraft and William Godwin"
(Lunsford, pg 147). Which may have influenced Marry to write so many novels, articles and this
book, a story that captivated so many people by making a connection about life and how the

August 30, 1797 in London England. She grew up around an era of lots of conflict, invasions and

How will college change my life
"How will college change my life?"
Colleges are institutions of higher learning; I would go to college simply to make more money.
College could be described as a rite of passage, where future working men and women step out from
sheltered childhood lives into an independent place of learning. It is different from the original
schooling most children receive as there is a more in–depth workload that requires more studying.
College will change my life as I am open to many fields of study, expanding my mind and giving a
glimpse of what to expect when I step out into the working world. Flexibility with learning and
providing me with the option to choose what interests me, being treated as an adult by taking
responsibility for one's own actions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As college students, we as students must have a fierce ambition to accomplish a balance between a
healthy, steady social life and a bright academic future. Communication is an important tool in life,
not just inside college that broadens our horizons and makes us more intelligent generally.
The future working men and women who enter college are adults and will be treated as such. An
adult is one who has matured to know what is right and what is wrong. The importance of a rule is a
line between right and wrong that many places including colleges have as a guiding tool. College
students who enter are expected to follow rules as the rules are meant to protect us and set a
guideline. Adults also know how to be self–sufficient, being able to do their work, without anyone's
help or stealing someone else's work: plagiarism. College is where we are expected to perform to the
best of our abilities because as students we have a fierce ambition to get ahead by earning a degree.
College is a chance to be free and is a bridge between the real world and school. I'm an adult and
expected to behave as such; I make my own choices where I have to decide what is important to me.
I have an opportunity to learn how the world works, to explore the limitless possibilities and a
chance to admire how vast knowledge can be. College will change my life in the way that I can
develop life skills outside academics, to be fully

How Did Life Start?
How did life start? Where did humanity come from? These are some versions of questions that
everyone asks themselves at some point. Of course the two main answers are; one, God created the
world or two, the world today is a product of evolution. It is only natural to want to have a firm
grasp on the answer. These questions are not something to simply have a quick concise answer. To
get to the root of the question requires thought and time, Charles Darwin expressed his answer in the
form of a book. When Darwin wrote The Origin of Species, it was a product of its time; remarkably
over 150 later it is still a substantial read. To understand the jaw dropping response of Charles
Darwin's Origin of Species, one must take a look at the current ... Show more content on

The Pax Britannica was a period from 1815 to 1860, where Britain became the hegemonic power.
Britain procured roughly 400 million people and broadened its geographic scope, thanks to the
Royal Navy (Matzke 5). This was a time where exploration became prevalent, curiosity of the world
created the need for exploratory expeditions. The expedition of the HMS Beagle laid the foundation
of Darwin's famous theory of evolution.
In 1831, Charles Darwin graduates from Cambridge and he begins his five year journey upon the
HMS Beagle. During this time he studies the geology and natural history of many of the world's
Southern countries. Once Darwin returns to England in 1836 he begins reviewing and cataloging his
findings he collected, this marks his conception of the theory of evolution. As years pass, Darwin
publishes several small series of his findings in his voyage. It wasn't until 1858 when a British
naturalist by the name of Alfred R. Wallace approached him with a theory of evolution, almost
mirroring Darwin's ideas. In 1859 Darwin publishes his ideas of natural selection and the struggle
for life. Highlighting on human evolution, this throws the religious institution in a tail spin. The
book crushed the biblical notion of the creation of man; however Origin was still widely read.
Charles Darwin addresses his theory of evolution in several different positions in his most
influential work The Origin of Species. The

How Cancer Affects Life
Cancer is a disease. A disease that not only affects the life of the person infected, but also the lives

How Windows Will Revolutionize Life
Windows can pose many problems to building owners. First and foremost is safety. Windows need
to be strong and durable to not only keep Mother Nature out, but to hold life in. Windows need to be
strong enough to withstand the strength of a stage five hurricane, a level seven earthquake, your 10–
year old son hosting an indoor baseball game, or a high level executive throwing his chair at the
window. Windows should be made of the finest materials that make you forget there is an actual
barrier between the outside world and you. These materials should be easy to maintain, so the
beauty is lasting. They should be unique to every building because every building should be

survey, as seen in Appendix A. Questions asked were related to issues about sun coming through
people's windows and if people preferred having more or less sunlight in their homes. The survey
was posted on my personal social media account; thirty–eight responses were collected and
analyzed over the course of two consecutive days. Results in Figure 1 below showed that 73.86% of
all participants preferred to keep their blinds shut as to keep the sun out in the morning; this issue
can be resolved by utilizing the unique and transiting technology of JFI Solar Tech Windows.

A Star's Life: How Does Life Of A Star Work?
How Does The Life Of A Star Work?
Matthew. M. Whittemore
Stratford. Ontario. Canada
Introduction
A star has 5 definite stages and 3 stages which can vary between stars. The 5 definite stages are a
Nebula, a Star, a Red Giant, a White Dwarf and a Red Dwarf. The stages that can vary are a
Supernova, a Neutron Star and a Black hole. As the star goes through each stage, it can change size
dramastically. An example of this is a Red Giant, which is 100 time the size of the Sun, compared to
a Red dwarf, only 1 tenth the size of the sun (Life cycle). An interesting fact is "The closest star to
Earth is Proxima Centauri, located 4.2 light–years away. In other words, it takes light itself more
than 4 years to complete the journey from Earth. If you tried to hitch a ride on the fastest spacecraft
ever launched from Earth, it would still take you more than 70 000 years to get there from here."
(Interesting facts)

why the Red Giants are so bright is because of its size, although there surface temperature is less hot
than the Sun's. If you were to measure the temperature, it would be about 2000 to 3000oC. Red

How Does Life Affect Poe's Life
Edgar Allan Poe's life was never easy. He has experienced more hardships than most. His mother
died when he was a toddler, and then so did his step–mother. His step–father gave him a somewhat
rough time financially and he gambled away or bought alcohol with the money that was lent to him.
When he eventually got married to his cousin, she ended up dying at a very young age. These dark
experiences in Poe's life had inspired Poe's dark yet popular style of writing. Through the loss of
many major women in his life, such as his mothers and wife, he wrote about love and the grief of
losing a loved one. He included a dark tone in his writing, which was related to his dark life. "The
Raven" is a prime example of Poe expressing his life through writing. It has a dark and creepy tone,
as well as includes the narrator's grief over the loss of his radiantly beautiful wife, Lenore. This is
directly related to Poe's life, as he had lost many important women throughout his life and had the
same feelings of sorrow and grief as the narrator does in the short story. The poem's dark and
spooky atmosphere can be related to Poe's experiences in life, ... Show more content on

The narrator in the poem has seemingly gone mad and is plotting to kill the old man he lives with.
Although the narrator loves the old man, his vulture eye haunts him to the extent of driving him
insane. This relates to Poe's love–hate relationship with his step–father. Edgar respected his father
but his father gave him a hard time finance–wise. The narrator in "The Tell–Tale Heart" eventually
confesses his crime to policemen who had been contacted by the neighbors. He reveals his crime
because of the guilt and madness he is experiencing. Poe is expressing his feelings of guilt because
of the gambling and drinking he did in his early life, possibly throwing his career away in the
process. He also may be expressing his "hidden madness" and

How Did Life Influence Poe's Life
Edgar Allan Poe
Writer and critic, Edgar Allan Poe is famous for his mysterious and grisly stories. Poe's work
contains spine–tingling tales, using the common themes death and loss. Poe's writings are
considered great American literature.
Personal Life
Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born to Elizabeth
and William Poe. His mother died when he was only two years old, leaving him with his siblings.
With his father not in the picture, Edgar was adopted by Mr. And Mrs. John Allan. Edgar grew up in
good surroundings, but when it came to school he was only given a third of the money he needed
from his adoptive dad. Years later, after being shunned, Poe decided to join the Army due to lack of
skills and money. He made the rank of sergeant and cadet. Soon after, he apparently got dismissed

From Annabel Lee to The Raven, his work is described as dark and distinctive. He is known for his
extremely gothic tales. For example, when analyzing the short story The Tell–Tale Heart it's easy to
see that he pulled his thoughts from the deepest part of his mind. In The Tell–Tale Heart a madman
describes the steps he took into watching and then murdering an old man because of his eye. The
culprit defends himself saying he isn't a madman, when obviously he is. "You fancy me mad.
Madmen know nothing. But you should have seen me." Poe goes into great detail with the
description of what the speaker does every night watching the old man. It's as if Poe had
experienced something like that himself firsthand, but no Edgar Allan Poe pulled this short story
from his own imagination. Poe's elements when it comes to literature are very unique. The Tell–Tale
Heart is a great example. When thinking of Edgar Allen Poe's writing style the words that come to
mind are elaborate and cryptic. He uses very sophisticated words to tell stories about deep–dark
events that take

How Does Life Affect Mary Karrr's Life
Mary Karr's life consists of many major changes and dark times. Her early childhood was riddled
with struggles such as abusive, unstable parents (The Poetry Foundation), drug use, and being
victim of rape by an older boy (McFadden). Her adulthood was unconventional as well, including
alcoholism (The Poetry Foundation), but Karr made several realizations and modifications in her
lifestyle, including becoming a Catholic. The struggles and change Karr experienced in the past
greatly affect her views on life as well as her writing, which is sometimes autobiographical. Karr's

Despite many difficult times in her life, she persevered and reached better places. Later in this poem,
Mary Karr writes, "... and the Devil adjusted your new spiked antennae almost delicately, with claws
curled and lacquered black..." (Karr). Karr describes the Devil negatively with dangerous, frightful
"spiked antennae" and as dark and cynical "lacquered black." However, Karr also describes the
motions of the Devil as "delicate," which instills a separate feeling of care and thoughtfulness. Karr
has learned that while evils can be tempting and seem positive, they are negative overall. Lastly,
when the person's life is being repeated in the poem, it shows, "... the red eyes of a friend you
cursed..." (Karr). The thought of a "friend" conveys positive connotations of comfort, acceptance,
and joy. In contrast, the image of "red eyes" implies despair and melancholy. Mary Karr shows
through this contrast that positives and negatives can be closely connected and can manifest through
each other; Karr may be reflecting on a past relationship struggle of her

How Is It Related Everyday Life?
1. Definition
Knowledge is the information we have gained through learning or experience in this world. To
acquire knowledge, in the process of learning or experiencing, our brain must be able to classify
various objects and events around us into different categories and later store them in our memory.
This mental classification operation, which forms the basis for the construction of our knowledge, is
called categorization. The groups which this process places objects into are called categories. In
cognitive science, the study of human knowledge focuses on categorization.
2. How is it related to everyday life? We use the capacity of categorization in our life every day. We
use it to solve problems (i.e. what kind of question it is), organize perception (i.e. noticing our
surroundings), understand languages (i.e. ambiguity solution), explain things, make predictions,
reason, and communicate. The problem of categorization, therefore, is the most fundamental
problem of cognitive science.
3. Different Models on Categorization
How are objects placed into categories? There are three influential models to explain this.
3.1 Classical Model
In this model, category membership is based on a set of necessary and sufficient properties. For
example, a triangle can be defined as a polygon with three edges and three verticals. Thus, any
shape which conforms to this definition is a triangle; and any triangle must have these properties.
According to this model, we can decide if a particular

"Moviemakers have been providing America, and world audiences with entertainments that have
both reflected and shaped audience desires for more than a century." (Maasik pg. 365). Life of Pi is
very much desired by audience around the country. Life of Pi is a movie that came out in 2012 that
includes adventure and drama. The movie was an ultimate success. Life of Pi was selected for three
Golden Globe Awards which incorporated the Best Picture – Drama and the Best Director and won
the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. At the 85th Academy Awards, the movie had
eleven designations, including Best Picture and Best Director for Ang Lee. "Far from being mere
entertainments, movies constitute a profound part of our everyday lives."(Maasik pg. 366). What is
confidence? What is companionship? What is survival? What is dystopian fiction? Life of Pi
investigates these inquiries of a sincerely religious Indian kid nicknamed Pi who gets to be stranded
on a raft with an intemperate 450–pound Bengal tiger as his only buddy. Pi draws upon his insight
into wild creature since his dad was a zookeeper back in India, to create an uneasy peace in the

How The Cells Are The Way Of Life?
Everyone should already know that cells are the way of life! But the real question is, what keeps
those cells going? The cell has many different organelles such as the cell membrane, cell wall,
chlorophyll, chloroplasts, cytoplasm, golgi apparatus, lysosomes, microtubules, mitochondria,
nucleolus, nucleus, ribosomes, rough endoplasmic reticulum (rough ER), smooth endoplasmic
reticulum (smooth ER), and the vacuole (Alberts, B. 2014). Out of all the organelles listed above,
there are four that are involved with making up proteins–the nucleus, ribosomes, rough ER, and the
golgi apparatus (Alberts, B. 2014). Proteins are very critical to cells, because they happen to be

secondary structures (Alberts, B. 2014). Furthermore, most proteins take on the quaternary structure
which consist of two or more polypeptide chains that form a protein complex of a honomer or
heteromer (Alberts, B. 2014). The selective protein that will be discussed is ferredoxin– NADP
reductase. Ferredoxin provides regulation by diminishing substitutes between ferredoxin and NADP
in the photosynthetic electron transport chains of the Calvin Cycle in the individual cell and
organism that it is present in (Alcantara–Sanchez, F., L. Leyva–Castillo, A. Chagolla–Lopez, L.
Gonzalez de la Vara, and C. Gomez–Lojero. 2017). Ferredoxin NADP reductase is structural and an
enzyme. It is not in all organism and cells. However, it is in the organisms of plants, bacteria and in
the eukaryotes mitochondria (Ferredoxin–NADP( ) reductase. 2017). The structure for ferredoxin
NADP reductase has been determined in the Protein Data Bank. It has a variety of information
available about ferredoxin NADP reductase. Information from the structure summary and the 3D

How To Save A Life Analysis
People need to remind themselves that everything happens for a reason. In "How to Save a Life,"
Isaac Slade from The Slay targets those who know of someone that suffers from depression. Slade
uses repetition and imagery in order to make an emotional appeal so that the importance of
friendship will be emphasized and his listeners can visualize the setting of the song. "How to Save a
Life" was influenced by a boy who suffered from depression and drug addiction. The boy felt
helpless because he wanted support from his loved ones, but all he got was a lot of confrontation.
This song was dedicated to those who tried to help and talk the boy out of depression and his
addiction but was unsuccessful. Throughout the song, Slade effectively uses repetition to make an
emotional appeal to stress the importance of friendship. He repeats the same few lines throughout
the song to make his listeners ponder about the choices and actions they've made in life and the
effects of them. For instance, Slade often repeats "Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend" as well as
"How to save a life." Slade is underscoring the doubts and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

He wants his listeners to get a better understanding of the story that is being told in his song. As an
illustration, Slade says "He smiles politely back at you, you stare politely through some sort of
window to your right" to demonstrate the tension and emotions of the situation. He wants to show
the listeners that whenever the boy is confronted, he avoids eye contact as a way to escape and
ignore the situation. Slade allows his listeners to see the boy and his loved one's emotions through
their point of view, which allows them to feel sympathetic or empathetic towards them both as the
song goes on. To sum up, imagery is used in this song so the listeners can feel a sense of sympathy
or empathy by being able to visualize the

How Hardship Affected Your Life
Describe a hardship that you have overcome and how this affected your life
"What? What, doctor? How many are there?" My dad asked.
"I see three," the doctor replied, "and I'm looking for more."
My dad froze, looked over at my mom, and turned as white as a sheet. "I need to sit down," he told
the nurse.
That conversation with the doctor, as he read my mother's ultrasound, changed my dad's life forever.
Turns out, my mom was pregnant with triplets, and I'm one of them!
But then my mother started having contractions nineteen weeks into her pregnancy. Although the
contractions abated, at the twenty–six week mark, something tragic occurred.
Hunter, one of my triplet brothers, died due to stomach development malfunction.
Hunter no longer had a future. He know longer had the opportunity to grow up with his other

How Dogs Impact Life
Dogs Impacting your life
Thomas Jefferson once said, "A dog is a man's best friend." The American Veterinary Medical
Association says that 36.5% of all households have dogs. Think, 36.5% of households have best

dog. Well the reason why is that dogs impact people's lives in many different ways. Dogs impact
lives by helping them with their everyday needs, they find and rescue people, and they help people
get through tough times
One reason dogs impact people's lives, is they help people with their everyday needs. Some dogs

Life Is Beautiful : How Can Life Be Beautiful?
Life is Beautiful Part of the human existence is questioning the purpose of our being. Constantly
bombarded by emotions of love and joy paralleled by relentless hate and depression may create a
war of confusion in our own minds. Though our minds face this confusion in processing these
emotions to better understand life in its complexity, there is a common expression stating that life is
beautiful. Though, the common expression says that life is beautiful. How can life be beautiful when
presenting such tragedy? I faced my own crisis concerning how to hold a perspective on this life
when my best friend decided to take his own life. His passing was devastating for me since I had
spent an entire day with him and spoke to him moments before he made his decision. After this
devastating loss, I had first hand experience questioning how life can be so great as I had been told
all my life. As time passed I understood that life is what I decide to make of it, meaning if I want to
understand the beauty of this world then I must allow myself to see it. The reality is that when
something agonizing happens in this world, there is typically nothing that is beautiful about what
has happened itself, but the act of living as a human being and experiencing life itself creates the
beauty. The human mind processes negative emotions and memories much differently than positive
emotions and memories. Negative emotions require more thought and it is typically through
negative emotions that

How To Read Shakespeare's Life
If you were to visit the new indoor theater at the Globe Theater complex, you'd get some idea of
what it was like to see a play in William Shakespeare's day. But what was London like when
Shakespeare lived there? What would he have observed that might have inspired him when he wrote
his famous plays? Born in a town called Stratford–Upon–Avon in 1564, Shakespeare arrived in
London in the 1580s. London was a growing city, and it offered many of its residents the
opportunity to become prosperous. During the 16th century, London's population doubled to about
200,000 people. English companies traded goods in Russia and Asia. They sent ships to sea via the

The law stated that the government should give money to people who could not work because of age
or disability. Those who could work were required to find employment. What if they could not or
would not find a job? If they resorted to crime or even begging, they were punished. Some beggars
were whipped, imprisoned, or even executed. During Shakespeare's time, the government developed
"workhouses," places where the poor could work long hours in exchange for food and shelter. But
people who worked in these houses were looked down upon and treated poorly, and many did not
want to go there. Crime was common in London, and at night, there were no patrolling police
officers or streetlights to keep pedestrians safe from violence and pickpocketing. Londoners also had
other concerns, such as their health–or lack of it. London was a filthy place to live–and Shakespeare
was lucky that he had enough money to keep a house in the country where he could take in some

all around the world with his inspirational novels and stories aging from the 1950's to the early

Updike's stories were influenced by basic human struggles and it was his goal to include everything
that had happened to him throughout his life in his stories. According to The New Yorker, John
Updike divorced his first wife in 1974 after 21 years of being married. This mirrors the plot of the

How is racism depicted in 'Life for a Life' by Alan Paton?
How is racism depicted in 'Life for a Life ' by Alan Paton?
'Life for a Life ' is a short story written by a famous white South African author who became
involved in the fight against apartheid. It is a story about the murder of a rich white farmer and the
revenge killing of a black shepherd. The story was written at the height of apartheid in 1962. Most
of Alan Paton 's work was written to express his views on the injustices in South Africa. His aim
was to bring about change. Apartheid lasted from 1948 – 1991 and the story illustrates the division
between the white and the black people.
In 'Life for a Life ' the two races live totally different lifestyles. The whites live in big houses and
the blacks live in small stonehouses which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
An example of his attitude can be seen in the line:
'Soleman Koopman would have gone away, with a smile on his lips and cold hate in his heart '.
This shows that he did not want to upset the white policemen, but deep down he hated them. This is
another area where racism is depicted. Robbertse and the other white policemen are not worried
about losing their jobs, but Soleman Koopman and the other black people are.
The writer develops Sara 's character after her husband has been taken away. Her thoughts are full of
anger when she thinks of the way that Robbertse treated her husband. This is shown in the line:
'.....hear the tremendous voice that filled her house, with feigned politeness, and with contempt and
with cruel smiling '.
Towards the end of the story Sara stands up to the white policemen as she has nothing to lose.
However, Koopman reminds her that she has to think of her son 's future. This is shown in the line:
'I shall lose the licence, and who will help you to keep your son at the university? '
This shows that she still has responsibilities and that she should be careful. It is this pressure that
they use to make her conform.
Racism is also depicted in the fact that Enoch Maarmen was allowed to disappear without any fuss
and his widow was expected to just accept the situation and move from the farm. On the other hand,
when Baas Flip was murdered the detectives immediately wanted to find the murderer.
This shows racism because the whites do not

How Does Life Affect Poe's Life
Massively recognized and known writer Edgar Allan Poe had a very different background and life
story than what most people have had. Through out a lot of his writings he has written, he portrays
his life experiences and reflects a lot about how he was mentally. The experiences and situations that
Poe was subjected to was by no means what anyone should go through, especially at the age Poe
experienced his tragic experiences. Though he faced many obstacles, he did not give up his passion
of writing, as most people that would have gone through the same experiences would give up on life
and their life aspirations. Poe's writings are a true exposure of the view of the world through the

me day and night. Object there was none. Passion there was none. I loved the old man. He had never

feel as though that Poe was also trying to give off mental characteristics that he shared with the
servant. There are constant parts of the story the servant states he is not insane, for example he says,
"And have I not told you that what you mistake for madness is but over–acuteness of the sense?"
(Baym and Levine 716) With the killing of the old man, I believe Poe does this to almost
metaphorically compare the death of the old man to the death of the loved ones in his life. For
example, his mother died at the age of three, his foster mother died at an early age of adolescence. It
portrays the scenario where even though he loved and had passion for these special people, death

Death is one of the leading causes of the major events that take place in Hamlet by William

way he lives it. Hamlet's personal struggle is how death has encompassed him, and to cope with this
drastic stress his attitude towards death changes throughout the play in various ways.

After all the events that have taken place his fate will lead to death, so he accepts it. Hamlet at this
stage of the play does not worry about suicide or killing other beings to avenge his father and restore
balance to his life. Hamlet comes to terms with death when he is in the graveyard conversing with
Horatio and the first clown. "Alexander died, Alexander was buried, Alexander returneth into dust;
the dust is earth; of earth we make loam...Imperious Caesar, dead and turn'd to clay, Might stop a

Julius Caesar at the end of the day become nothing, comparing there bones to dust. Also no matter
how he decides to deal with the unfortunate events that have taken place in his life, in decades it will

confront death and this is why with open hands he accepts the fight with Laertes. He finds out that

realizing the effect it has on the other end. Racism can really affect people's lives in the long run and
it shapes our lives and even the world.
Last time I checked, we were Humans. Not animals.
Animals have been always classified based on what they look like, but when did it ever become
normal for us to classify humans in this way? "The term for race in Norwegian is 'rase' and it is the
same word that's used to describe animal breeds, like 'hunderase' for a dog breed. And this is a
terrible linguistic equivalency. We shouldn't refer to groups of people in the same way that we refer
to groups of animals. That doesn't mean we should abandon the concept entirely though. Instead, the
challenge to us is to come up with language that will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
"The problem was never that we saw color. It was what we did when we saw the color. It's a false
ideal. And while we're busy pretending not to see, we are not being aware of the ways in which
racial difference is changing people's possibilities" – Verna Myers. It's keeping some individuals
from doing great things and making changes, so if we don't stop to think about how we are reacting
towards these people nothing will change. If we keep reacting negatively, all their opportunities will
keep slipping away. By judging people for things that that they can't help, it can change lives. You
may not realize this now, but Race can affect anything from where you live, the job you have, your
income, your health, your success in life, to even your children's success in life. So race clearly does
matter. One of the things that we tend to do that is not very helpful is not talking about race. Race is
not a bad word. If we stop talking and stop asking about it, "it doesn't make that inequality go away,
it just makes it harder to study, harder to understand, and therefore, harder to combat." – Jennifer

How Is Your College Life?
How is your college life? Are you succeeding? I hope that you are doing just fine. I know you might
feel stressed out right now, but you already had a math teacher like Joseph Stalin. I'm confident you
will overcome the stress, and I know I will be proud of you. Just like in school, take the lessons and
apply them to whatever comes next. There is always a reason to look back in the past and laugh at
all the silly things you've done, which may not have mattered so much back then, but now they
might be some of the best memories that you have. No matter what happens, always stay happy.
College days are some of the best years you will ever have, and you will miss all the fun things
you've done with your friends once you graduate. Remember that ... Show more content on

This is something you should worry about because your behaviors might affect you in the future.
You may not care about what I am saying now, but lung cancer also occurs in people who never
smoked too (Mayo clinic staff, 2015). Some people who have a family history of lung cancer or are
exposed to radon gas are more likely to get cancer.. I hate to say this, but if you have any friends
who smoke, please try to keep some distance. Not only can smoking cigarettes cause cancer, but
inhaling cigarette smoke (or second hand smoke), which is full of cancer causing chemicals, can
also cause substantial changes in the lung tissue (Mayo clinic staff, 2015). In order to diagnose a
lung cancer, doctors recommend some tests, and I will tell you three tests. Imaging tests is where an
x–ray image of your lungs may show an abnormal mass on nodule (Mayo clinic staff, 2015).
Sputum Cytology a mixture of mucus and saliva coughed up, if you have a cough and are producing
sputum, looking it under the microscope can sometimes show the presence of lung cancer cells
(Mayo clinic staff, 2015). And the last test I will be telling you about is the Tissue Sample biopsy. A
small sample of abnormal cells may be removed in a biopsy, which doctors can perform in a number
of ways (Mayo clinic staff, 2015).
A cancerous tumor begins with an error, or mutation, in a cell's DNA. All cells in the body contain
the genetic material called deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).

How Life's Unfairness Can Be Overcome

  • 1. How Is Life Unfair "If life is unfair to everyone, does that make it fair?" Thinking about life, we all know that life is the most important thing that we have right now. Without life, we are nothing.Have you ever asked yourself what the purpose of your existence is? Why you're here? Some say that life has no meaning, but others say there is. They believe that our life was already written and destined. Everything happens to us for a reason. But what is life? Why do we have to feel the sufferings and challenges? Why do they say that "just do your best" even though it's still not enough? Why is life unfair? I asked one of my friends what life is for him, he answered, 10% is what happens to you and 90 % is how you react to it. He enlightened me.I started to think that it is in our hands. The answer is what you think of it. The challenges of life we face everyday is an endless routine. We wake up everyday doing something that we don't know what's the use in the end. In order to live, we have to work hard to sustain our needs. As we go on through our day, we always notice some unfortunate people on the streets ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You hate your life by thinking that they have it all and you got nothing. You started off thinking that how about me? What if we're rich too? Was I sleeping when God showered blessings? At some aspects of life being unfair are the insecurities that we have. You're complaining that they are better than you. We can't blame that thought. But do you really need to be beautiful just to be fair with them? Do we really need to be equal and the same as what they have just to be satisfied? Sometimes the idea of unfairness inside us triggers our mind with anger and fear. Anger due to jealousy of others abilities and things that we don't have. The fear of not being enough, fear of others might drag you down, and fear of failing. It is normal. I believe that it is ... • 3. The Fray's Song 'How To Save A Life' The challenge many of us often face in life is not how to help ourselves, but how to help others. Often, people in need of support from others are often unwilling to admit it, or refuse to receive help in fear that it will inconvenience someone else. Self–preservation is a part of human instinct and through this we become reluctant to allow others into our lives or to be honest with them. The Fray's song "How to Save a Life" explores the desperate attempts to save someone else, and the sense of futility after realizing it was all for nothing. The line "Step one, you say, "We need to talk." He walks, you say, "Sit down. It's just a talk."" shows the attempts made by a person to save anothers life, and the stubborn response received in return. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

How Divorce Changed My Life Like any other essay that I've written, about change in my life, I could write about my parents divorce, which helped me learn how to deal with the constant struggles that followed. I could write about how it tore me apart, and how hard it was for me moving all the time. All of that would be a lie. In reality, I was too young to really understand what divorce was. To me, it merely meant moving in with my favorite family members and not being scared because of my parents fighting anymore. However, having twelve years passed, I've come to the realization that, my parents divorce isn't at all what has taught me the most in life. What happened, as a result of my parents splitting up, is what has impacted me the most. My father started dating an old family friend about four years after ... The guidance, and discipline that my Father and Stepmother provided me with, had both educated me and humbled me so that I could understand that in life, nothing is ever fair and that everything comes at a cost. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way. I remember it was like it was yesterday, I was sitting in the hospital with a muscle infection, playing on my jailbroken 2nd Gen iPod. It was my second week of sitting in room 243, lying on the same bed with the same IV in my arm, so as a young technology dependent kid, I tried easing my boredom by downloading some games onto my iPod. I hadn't yet gotten an Itunes account so nonetheless, I got my stepmother, Amanda's, card so that I could create my account. • 9. How to Have a Successful Life How to Have a Successful Life 1. You must believe in yourself in enough to know you can succeed at anything you put your mind too. Don't listen to anyone who puts your dreams down or says you can't succeed at what you're after. You already know you can and you will. 2. Success just doesn't come to you, you have to go out and take it by the horn. Keep yourself motivated and focused on the prize that lies ahead at the end of the road. You will eventually reach your goal with a mindset like this. Put in your mind, you were born to succeed. 3. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You can control your thought by breaking your old thinking habit. First you will have to identify or get conscious about the thought that you are thinking. And if you found that you are thinking negatively, try to focus on positive thoughts. 6. Dare Venture Out Of Your Comfort Zone Some gurus say that if you want to be rich and successful, you need to do things differently. What I think is, you don't necessarily need to do things differently from others, but you must dare to venture out of your comfort zone. If you're someone who is shy and timid, try to get out of this comfort by getting to know more people. Some people don't dare to do this and this causes them to stuck in where they are forever. Just like if you're living in a small city and you know that you will not have much opportunity if you stay there. And if you want to make some big business deals, you must go to big city. Do you have the courage to do so? Get to a place where nobody knows you and you'll be all alone to strive for your future. Are you willing to do that? Do you dare? You need courage to go against the norm and expand your comfort zone to be successful. 7. Network With Other Successful People Birds of the same feather flock together. How true this is. People who are successful will network and be together with other successful people. Of course, I'm not suggesting that you leave all your friends, but what I'm telling you is to join and get to know more successful friends. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It begun about 4 years ago I was in a pretty bad car accident, and was hit on my side I was the passenger. I went to see one of the Doctors I worked with, to get my back checked out. That was probably one of the biggest mistakes of my life. He first started prescribing me Vicodin I think I used it for about a month but it wasn't taking care of the pain and I wasn't getting that euphoric feeling I got the first time I took it. Even after having to buy pills I still felt I had everything under control, until I got completely cut off from my doctor. Then I started using Heroin I knew once I put a needle in my arm I had hit rock bottom but I couldn't stop. I mean after I would pay my bills I would spend the rest on Heroin so about 500–700 every paycheck I would borrow money from friends and family in between pay periods and have to pay it back next pay period. College students who enter are expected to follow rules as the rules are meant to protect us and set a guideline. Adults also know how to be self–sufficient, being able to do their work, without anyone's help or stealing someone else's work: plagiarism. Of course the two main answers are; one, God created the world or two, the world today is a product of evolution. It is only natural to want to have a firm grasp on the answer. These questions are not something to simply have a quick concise answer. To get to the root of the question requires thought and time, Charles Darwin expressed his answer in the form of a book. This was a time where exploration became prevalent, curiosity of the world created the need for exploratory expeditions. The expedition of the HMS Beagle laid the foundation of Darwin's famous theory of evolution. In 1831, Charles Darwin graduates from Cambridge and he begins his five year journey upon the HMS Beagle. During this time he studies the geology and natural history of many of the world's Southern countries. Once Darwin returns to England in 1836 he begins reviewing and cataloging his findings he collected, this marks his conception of the theory of evolution. As years pass, Darwin publishes several small series of his findings in his voyage. It wasn't until 1858 when a British naturalist by the name of Alfred R. Wallace approached him with a theory of evolution, almost mirroring Darwin's ideas. In 1859 Darwin publishes his ideas of natural selection and the struggle for life. • 31. How Does Life Affect Poe's Life Edgar Allan Poe's life was never easy. He has experienced more hardships than most. His mother died when he was a toddler, and then so did his step–mother. His step–father gave him a somewhat rough time financially and he gambled away or bought alcohol with the money that was lent to him. When he eventually got married to his cousin, she ended up dying at a very young age. These dark experiences in Poe's life had inspired Poe's dark yet popular style of writing. Through the loss of many major women in his life, such as his mothers and wife, he wrote about love and the grief of losing a loved one. He included a dark tone in his writing, which was related to his dark life. "The Raven" is a prime example of Poe expressing his life through writing. It has a dark and creepy tone, as well as includes the narrator's grief over the loss of his radiantly beautiful wife, Lenore. "You fancy me mad. Madmen know nothing. But you should have seen me." Poe goes into great detail with the description of what the speaker does every night watching the old man. It's as if Poe had experienced something like that himself firsthand, but no Edgar Allan Poe pulled this short story from his own imagination. • 37. How Is It Related Everyday Life? 1. Definition Knowledge is the information we have gained through learning or experience in this world. To acquire knowledge, in the process of learning or experiencing, our brain must be able to classify various objects and events around us into different categories and later store them in our memory. This mental classification operation, which forms the basis for the construction of our knowledge, is called categorization. The groups which this process places objects into are called categories. In cognitive science, the study of human knowledge focuses on categorization. 2. How is it related to everyday life? We use the capacity of categorization in our life every day. We use it to solve problems (i.e. what kind of question it is), organize perception (i.e. noticing our surroundings), understand languages (i.e. ambiguity solution), explain things, make predictions, reason, and communicate. The problem of categorization, therefore, is the most fundamental problem of cognitive science. 3. Different Models on Categorization How are objects placed into categories? There are three influential models to explain this. 3.1 Classical Model In this model, category membership is based on a set of necessary and sufficient properties. For example, a triangle can be defined as a polygon with three edges and three verticals. Thus, any shape which conforms to this definition is a triangle; and any triangle must have these properties. There had been slight snow, hail, and rain through–out the day, way before Washington went about his business. He knew it was not the best of ideas, but obviously did not think much of it. Washington awoke the next day complaining about feeling rather unpleasant. Despite his better judgment and his wife's advice, he went out the next day to mark some trees for clearing/fire wood between his mansion and the Potomac River. Later that evening he awoke in the middle of the night due to difficulty breathing. Despite having three of the best doctors of the time fighting for his survival, George passed away between 10pm– 11pm that night. Most people agree that this is one of the more peaceful ways Washington could have died. Dying at home with his family is absolutely better than dying in battle away from his loved ones. The American Veterinary Medical Association says that 36.5% of all households have dogs. Think, 36.5% of households have best friends in their house. There's got to be a reason why such a large percentage of households have a dog. Well the reason why is that dogs impact people's lives in many different ways. Dogs impact lives by helping them with their everyday needs, they find and rescue people, and they help people get through tough times One reason dogs impact people's lives, is they help people with their everyday needs. Some dogs help people when they're blind, they are deaf, or have other medical needs. Most dogs are used as household pets. But some people need dogs for other needs. Half of the residents had quiet time alone with the pooches. The other half shared the dog with other nursing home residents. Both groups said they felt less lonely after the visit, but the decrease in loneliness was much more significant among the residents that had the dogs all to themselves." There are many types of being depressed, and being lonely is one of them. These dogs impacted the people because it helped them be happy and not feel lonely. Constantly bombarded by emotions of love and joy paralleled by relentless hate and depression may create a war of confusion in our own minds. Though our minds face this confusion in processing these emotions to better understand life in its complexity, there is a common expression stating that life is beautiful. Though, the common expression says that life is beautiful. How can life be beautiful when presenting such tragedy? I faced my own crisis concerning how to hold a perspective on this life when my best friend decided to take his own life. His passing was devastating for me since I had spent an entire day with him and spoke to him moments before he made his decision. After this devastating loss, I had first hand experience questioning how life can be so great as I had been told all my life. As time passed I understood that life is what I decide to make of it, meaning if I want to understand the beauty of this world then I must allow myself to see it. The reality is that when something agonizing happens in this world, there is typically nothing that is beautiful about what has happened itself, but the act of living as a human being and experiencing life itself creates the beauty. The human mind processes negative emotions and memories much differently than positive emotions and memories. Negative emotions require more thought and it is typically through negative emotions that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 55. How To Read Shakespeare's Life If you were to visit the new indoor theater at the Globe Theater complex, you'd get some idea of what it was like to see a play in William Shakespeare's day. But what was London like when Shakespeare lived there? What would he have observed that might have inspired him when he wrote his famous plays? Born in a town called Stratford–Upon–Avon in 1564, Shakespeare arrived in London in the 1580s. London was a growing city, and it offered many of its residents the opportunity to become prosperous. During the 16th century, London's population doubled to about 200,000 people. English companies traded goods in Russia and Asia. They sent ships to sea via the River Thames, which runs right through London. In addition to business owners, workers benefited ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The law stated that the government should give money to people who could not work because of age or disability. Those who could work were required to find employment. What if they could not or would not find a job? If they resorted to crime or even begging, they were punished. Some beggars were whipped, imprisoned, or even executed. During Shakespeare's time, the government developed "workhouses," places where the poor could work long hours in exchange for food and shelter. But people who worked in these houses were looked down upon and treated poorly, and many did not want to go there. Crime was common in London, and at night, there were no patrolling police officers or streetlights to keep pedestrians safe from violence and pickpocketing. Londoners also had other concerns, such as their health–or lack of it. London was a filthy place to live–and Shakespeare was lucky that he had enough money to keep a house in the country where he could take in some fresh air when the city got to be too much. Sometimes, London's crowded streets were difficult to bear. There was no sewer system like the ones that exist today. In addition, people rarely bathed, and many wore perfume to try and cover the smell. Rats ran through the streets, transporting fleas that occasionally carried a disease called the bubonic ... How Does Life Affect John Updike's Life Before his tragic passing in early 2009, beloved author John Updike influenced the lives of people all around the world with his inspirational novels and stories aging from the 1950's to the early 2000's. One of the reasons for world wide inspiration is that his stories tie in directly to human life. Updike's stories were influenced by basic human struggles and it was his goal to include everything that had happened to him throughout his life in his stories. According to The New Yorker, John Updike divorced his first wife in 1974 after 21 years of being married. In an interview with John Updike for The Boston Globe, Updike explains another personal experience of his at a chain of grocery stores known as the A&P. 'Life for a Life ' is a short story written by a famous white South African author who became involved in the fight against apartheid. It is a story about the murder of a rich white farmer and the revenge killing of a black shepherd. The story was written at the height of apartheid in 1962. Most of Alan Paton 's work was written to express his views on the injustices in South Africa. His aim was to bring about change. Apartheid lasted from 1948 – 1991 and the story illustrates the division between the white and the black people. In 'Life for a Life ' the two races live totally different lifestyles. This shows that he did not want to upset the white policemen, but deep down he hated them. This is another area where racism is depicted. Robbertse and the other white policemen are not worried about losing their jobs, but Soleman Koopman and the other black people are. The writer develops Sara 's character after her husband has been taken away. Her thoughts are full of anger when she thinks of the way that Robbertse treated her husband. This is shown in the line: '.....hear the tremendous voice that filled her house, with feigned politeness, and with contempt and with cruel smiling '. Towards the end of the story Sara stands up to the white policemen as she has nothing to lose. However, Koopman reminds her that she has to think of her son 's future. This is shown in the line: 'I shall lose the licence, and who will help you to keep your son at the university? ' This shows that she still has responsibilities and that she should be careful. It is this pressure that they use to make her conform. Racism is also depicted in the fact that Enoch Maarmen was allowed to disappear without any fuss and his widow was expected to just accept the situation and move from the farm. On the other hand,

Through out a lot of his writings he has written, he portrays his life experiences and reflects a lot about how he was mentally. The experiences and situations that Poe was subjected to was by no means what anyone should go through, especially at the age Poe experienced his tragic experiences. Though he faced many obstacles, he did not give up his passion of writing, as most people that would have gone through the same experiences would give up on life and their life aspirations. Poe's writings are a true exposure of the view of the world through the eyes and mind of someone who has been permanently damaged through life experiences. Tell Tailed Heart is a ... There are constant parts of the story the servant states he is not insane, for example he says, "And have I not told you that what you mistake for madness is but over–acuteness of the sense?" Racism can really affect people's lives in the long run and it shapes our lives and even the world. Last time I checked, we were Humans. Not animals. Animals have been always classified based on what they look like, but when did it ever become normal for us to classify humans in this way? "The term for race in Norwegian is 'rase' and it is the same word that's used to describe animal breeds, like 'hunderase' for a dog breed. And this is a terrible linguistic equivalency.
