Advanced Placement Narrative
Through the jungle of steel legs, nervous legs tapped the concrete ground as the overly proud teacher paced the front of the class. Already two
weeks in Advanced Placement Language Arts, the class was in the fastest gear possible. A few teenagers in the back stared hopelessly at the screen
as the teacher of the year rattled off terms that they had to memorize in minutes. Whereas the teenagers in the front looked at each piece of
information on the board like they were hungry raptures at it was their prey. Even so, the anxiety of the room seeped from every pore of all the well

This research will take place in the office of a nursing registry; this office is located on the third floor of a 30–floor multi–office building. Upon
walking into the office, one immediately enters the main room, which leads to two other smaller rooms. The rooms have an overall similar layout but
retain some important differences. For instance, in every room, desks are strategically angled toward the door, so that employees will immediately
notice visitors who enter their office. The rooms, however, have some differences that are discussed later. The main room is the largest, which
enables it to double as a waiting room and office. The small portion of the room that is designed to be a waiting area includes two chairs facing the
employees and located next to a small gray table. This table serves a primarily decorative purpose: it holds small silver letters abbreviating the
company name and a magazine holder containing recent issues of business magazines. The larger portion of the room is dedicated to office matters.

For the past decade, I have taught in one of the smaller classrooms in my school. Nestled into a central hallway, the classroom sees a lot of traffic and
is conveniently located near the Special Education office that houses a printer that I can pillage from in a pinch. Being an older classroom with
original vents and windows that look directly into windows of another classroom, the room is not without its rustic charms (And by charms, I mean

small set of stairs to reach the first door on the right. Once inside there is a room with two desks. Jenny sits at a large L shaped desk in the left hand

For my shadowing in a dental office, I chose to shadow at Crest Smile Shoppe. I chose here because my mom regularly goes here for herself and the
team members there said I was more than welcome to come in their office and shadow whoever.

Importance Of Flexible Seating In Classrooms
Frigid environments, harsh lighting, and uncomfortable seating: this sounds like prison. No wonder most students think of school as a prison! But
school doesn't need to feel like that. Flexible seating in classrooms gives students the opportunity to sit in the type of chair and position in which they
feel most comfortable and able to learn. In our school district, we have beautiful, new facilities, but we are missing something simple that can help our
students excel. Kindred Public Schools should fund flexible seating options for all classrooms.
Students who are more comfortable will be more engaged in class. (Look up a Fact) When we have to sit for a long period of time in an uncomfortable
chair, we are distracted by our discomfort. We tend to fidget more, which is likely to distract others around us, too. If we are fidgeting and drawing
attention to ourselves, then we are missing out on important information being presented to us or we're unable to focus on our tasks. They also say
that variety is the spice of life, right? What works for you one day may not work for you another day, and it may depend on your tasks that day. At
home, our students choose a place where they feel productive and comfortable to do their homework. At school, they should be able to do the same.
Not all students are built the same, so therefore not all students should be forced to sit in the same type of chair and desk. In my classrooms, I have

  • 1. Advanced Placement Narrative Through the jungle of steel legs, nervous legs tapped the concrete ground as the overly proud teacher paced the front of the class. Already two weeks in Advanced Placement Language Arts, the class was in the fastest gear possible. A few teenagers in the back stared hopelessly at the screen as the teacher of the year rattled off terms that they had to memorize in minutes. Whereas the teenagers in the front looked at each piece of information on the board like they were hungry raptures at it was their prey.   • 2. Observation In Nursing Office Method Setting This research will take place in the office of a nursing registry; this office is located on the third floor of a 30–floor multi–office building. Upon walking into the office, one immediately enters the main room, which leads to two other smaller rooms. The rooms have an overall similar layout but retain some important differences. For instance, in every room, desks are strategically angled toward the door, so that employees will immediately notice visitors who enter their office. The rooms, however, have some differences that are discussed later. The main room is the largest, which enables it to double as a waiting room and office. The small portion of the room that is designed to be a waiting area includes two chairs facing the employees and located next to a small gray table. This table serves a primarily decorative purpose: it holds small silver letters abbreviating the company name and a magazine holder containing recent issues of business magazines.
