• A tactful way to cut him short and to involve others is to
turn one of his statements into a question directedto the

• This individual won’t volunteer comments, and is
very brief in his answers to questions.
• Handle him by directing questions to him. And
whenever he speaks up, reinforce it by thanking him
for his comment, or telling him his comment is
