Eucharist
Sacraments
Reconciliation – receiving the Body and blood of
Christ
CATHOLIC – ACTUAL body and blood of Christ

• Paten – holds the host
• Chalice – hold the wine
• Ciborium – Holds the host before and after

Presentation of gifts – The offertory. When the bread and wine
is brought up to the altar as an offering to God.
Eucharistic prayer– The re-enactment of the Last Supper. This is
when the bread and wine becomes the body and blood of Jesus
through the Hoy Spirit and Transubstantiation.
Rite of Communion – When we receive Communion – the Body
and blood of Jesus. Any Hosts (Bread) that is not used is placed
in the tabernacle.
