Remember!! When an adjective ends in
“y”, it changes in “ier”
By adding “more” before
the adjective
More expensive
More beautiful
More famous
By adding “as…as”.
In this case we put the
adjective in the middle
- Subject + verb + as
good as + subject
- Subject + verb + as
tall as + subject
Noisy  noisier
Ugly  uglier

5. We form
superlatives in a
similar way like
comparatives
By adding “est”
instead of “er”
The tallest
The biggest
The highest
The smallest
The cheapest
Remember!! When an adjective ends in
“y”, it changes in “iest”
Noisy  the noisiest
Ugly  the ugliest
By adding “the most”
before the adjective
The most expensive
The most beautiful
The most famous
