7. My Library Account
How do I access my account in CALCAT to see what books I have
out, renew my books, place holds and view details of my account?
• In CALCAT, select the My Account tab at the top of the page.
• You will be prompted to enter a User ID which is the barcode located
on the back of your student ID card, and a PIN which is the last 6 digits
of the same barcode.
• You may also access your CALCAT
account using your student ID
number from the front of your ID
card in the alternate ID box,
and the last 6 digits of the
barcode on the back of your
student ID card as the PIN number.

9. • This service allows you to search for books
available in NJ libraries. You can request
them via Interlibrary loan.
• This service can also be used to see if your
local library has the material, you can then
check it out yourself.
10. World Cat
Not just American libraries!
You can find materials
world-wide and request
them via ILL.
Be aware of time!
If distant libraries own it, it will take longer for the
material to arrive.
Allow 2-4 weeks for book requests.
11. Vale Reciprocal Borrowing
• Students can borrow directly from
participating academic libraries.
• Student must obtain an application form
from the Jennings Library circulation desk.
• A list of participating libraries is available at
the circulation desk and on the library
Website.
12. How Do I Know If The Library Owns A
Particular Journal?
From the Jennings Library Website :
Use the Journal Locator link on
the Jennings Library homepage
to find out if the library owns a
specific journal or if there is
full-text access available in a
database.
13. How Do I Find Journal Articles?
• Select the Find Journal articles and more link from the library’s homepage.
• Select your subject area to see a list of databases recommended for your
discipline or, select a database directly from the complete Databases A-Z list.
• Select a specific database and enter your search terms.
• If the article you want is full-text on that database, select the full-text option.
• If the article you want is not available full-text on that database, select the
icon or check for full-text availability link to see if it is available in another of
our databases.

Enter your Caldwell College e-mail name and password.
After inputting this information click on the "submit" button.
You will have to login in only once during a search session,
no matter how many databases you use.
