2. The Job Role of a Director is Primary role in getting a Video produced.
They’re the people/person who tell the other people with different
roles to do what the Director asks of them. The Director is in charge
of getting everyone on Task and to finish them at a certain deadline
so that they can move onto something else as quick as possible.
It’s also they’re job to try and explain their idea and try to tell the
other Roles of Video creation what to do exactly to capture the
directors Artistic Vision.
3. The sound operator’s job is to capture the sound of a scene while
the camera is rolling. Both the Sound Operator and Camera Person
work together to get the shot and sound on sync and to judge the
sound levels to see if they’re correct for the type of scene. The
most hardest job for the Sound operator is getting the Boom mic
close enough but just enough out of the shot. The sound
operator, when they have recorded the sound, use a Portable
device that has captured the audio and then put the audio in a
Audio Software program (Such as Adobe Auditorium) to edit the
sound to the correct pitch or tempo or even remove certain things
that are not needed the audio.
4. The main job for the Camera Person to is capture the footage to the
directors liking such as angles and zooms. The Camera Person works
Closely with the Director to make sure the Shots are right to the
Directors vision.
5. The job of the Lighting person is self explanatory. To get the
lighting correct to the certain type of scene. So if it’s a dark lit
room, the Lighting person will have to provide dim light just
enough that the Camera person can actually record footage
correctly. Lighting is important in Videos as it can set a mood and
theme. The Lighting Person works closely with the Camera
Person so both of them know which is not/is the correct lighting.
