The document describes the meeco sun2safe central energy management system, which is an integrated energy system that allows for better management of produced energy and cost savings. It consists of a battery charger, inverter, and 7-inch touchscreen display. The system can be used with various power production solutions like solar, generators, or grids to charge batteries and power loads in a sustainable way. It provides monitoring and control of an off-grid or hybrid energy system to optimize energy use and reduce costs.
2. System description
The sun2safe system by meeco is an all-in-one converter/inverter with system energy manage-
ment enabling better insight into power production and use, leading to better management of
produced energy and savings. First developed as a monitoring tool for meeco’s sun2live power
production and storage solution and sun2com solar telecommunication solution, the sun2safe is
a fully integrated power conversion and management system, which can be used with any power
production solution. Being used for solar energy production solutions and enabling energy and
cost savings, the sun2safe system is a real environment friendly energy conversion/storage/man-
agement solution.

3. Features and benefits
The main features of the meeco sun2safe central energy management are:
■ Battery charger with PV input and two independent MPPT tracking channels
■ Inverter with pure sinusoidal output, powered by battery or AC line (single or three-phase de-
pending on the chosen model)
■ A 7” touch screen display display allows a simple parameter consultation. All information about
the system are also displayed by remote and WEB
■ Simple installation and control
The main benefits of the meeco sun2safe central energy management are:
■ Charging the batteries using the PV energy or the AC line
■ Supplying the loads with the energy stored in the batteries when the PV power available is insuf-
ficient or absent
■ Providing energy to the point of need without interruptions
■ Keeping the PV live by removing the need for a counter current
■ Ensuring no loss of produced energy by jointly powering the equipment and charging the battery
with the available excess pv energy
■ Ensuring predictable energy spend, as well as immediate and long-term cost savings
■ Continuous insight into critical equipment and environmental conditions through intelligent
controls, real-time metering, production and power us age statistics and enhanced monitoring
