Jack finds a dead body in the park on a gloomy day and panics, throwing the knife next to the body over the fence. Ivy shows up at Jack's window after being kicked out of a party, asking to stay with him. She mentions that Katie, who Jack was dating, disappeared after the same party and won't answer her phone. Jack seems tense and agitated, especially when Ivy brings up Katie. He tells Ivy to leave him alone but allows her to stay in the living room for a couple hours.

It is a grey, gloomy day. It is at a park.
The shots give a feeling of isolation and loneliness.
Jack is seen kneeling in front of a dead body.
He looks anxious and overwhelmed.
There is a knife next to the body covered in blood.
Jack picks it up, looks like he is in a state of panic and
confusion.
He throws the the knife over a fence.
5 EXT.JACK’S BEDROOM 5
Jack is sitting on his bed, looking tense.
Ivy knocks on his window.
Jack is startled.
He gets up and opens the window.
Ivy comes in.
JACK
Um, hey, Ivy.
IVY
Thanks. I was supposed to stay at
Katie’s house after the party,
but she disappeared. So I slept
on the couch, with like three

others, but Chris’s dad came
down, and kicked us out. I forgot
my key and my parents can’t know
I was at a party.
Jack nods.
IVY
Are you okay?
JACK
Yeah, I guess I just drank too
much last night.
Ivy’s phone buzzes.
She looks at her phone.
IVY
That’s weird. Katie’s brother
just texted me saying she didn’t
come home at all and won’t answer
her phone.
Jack looks more tense and clenches his fist.
IVY
She’s your girlfriend... you
should know where she went.
JACK
Not to be a jerk, but I think I
just need to sleep now.
IVY
Nobody else lives close enough.
You can sleep, I’ll be out of
here in two hours at most.
Jack looks agitated.
JACK
Fine. Just please don’t talk
about Katie right now.
IVY
Did you get into a fight?
JACK
Kind of. Just please stop. You
can go into the living room or
something, just, just, leave me
alone. Please.
