No More Humour
3.
4. What Will be Seen in the
Opening
A montage of Sam and Frankie watching comedy
movies throughout their life.
When they get to the age of 35, they come to the
realisation that these movies are fast becoming
boring.
They decide to film their own movie, making jokes
that have never before been made.
5. Narrative Hooks
How can they create these new jokes?
Will they be successful?
The whole prospect of them actually making the
movie with zero experience.
6. The Rest of the Plot
Hiring an amateur film crew, they set about producing it.
Mid-way through production, all of the clips are
lost, causing the two of them to lose hope and give up.
The team gather all of the necessary resources and get
Sam and Frankie’s spirits up once more, persuading
them to film it all again.
They re-create the movie and sell it to a film company.
One month later, the movie premieres in a theatre in
London.
7. Setting
An average living room
that
changes throughout
the montage as the two
main characters do.
8. Characters / Costume
Both Frankie and Sam are very similar in personality
and image. Though both of them have defining
features e.g. glasses, ginger hair, moles etc. So the
audience can distinguish between the two as they
age.
