MUSIC TYPES: 
We seemed to get a wide variety of music types when 
conducting our questionnaire; 
This allowed us to have a consistent music genre which is indie, 
rock and alternate which most of these bands are. 
Bastille, swim deep, the 1975, the neighbourhood etc.
WAY OF LISTENING: 
Buy albums or download: a majority said that they would 
buy than download. This shows that the audience would 
be committed to the band as hard core fans prefer to 
have a hard copy of a band rather than it being 
downloaded. However the majority of the younger 
generation tend to download illegally as it has become 
easier to do and of course the positive side to it that you 
don’t have to pay anything.
AGE/GENDER/HOW LONG YOU LISTEN TO 
MUSIC: 
We asked mainly female people to answer our questionnaire 
As these bands are mainly male members we will be doing a music video 
through the female gaze “Laura Mulvey ”. 
Therefore we will be challenging the conventions of typical music videos, with 
changing the stereotypical male gaze. Instead we will us a dominant female 
figure in our music video 
Between the ages of 17 to 20 
When we asked how long you listen to music in our questionnaire we go 
varied answers of , 3.5 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, all the time. This 
suggest that our target audience will be committed to staying connected with 
the band, but also they don’t changet here type of genre it stays consistent.
