This document summarizes a workshop that used a learning simulation game called Regen-IT to teach participants about issues related to regeneration, affordable housing, and building sustainable communities. The simulation represented different organizations with differing needs and drivers working together on a housing development project. Feedback from participants indicated that the simulation was fun, engaging, provided insights into different perspectives, and encouraged strategic thinking and negotiation skills. Next steps discussed expanding the simulation for use in professional development courses, academic courses, community engagement, and partnership building.
