Choose one unforgettable scene of the story and do an act. You have five minutes to prepare. Perform it
as a group in front of the class.
Dodong, seventeen year old boy, is
impatiently waiting for his father to
arrive home, so that he can tell his
love for Teang and his desire to
marry her.
Dodong is waiting outside
while Teang gives birth to their
first son, Blas.
Her body is now shapeless and
thin from bearing so many

When Blas turns 18, he came
