This document proposes a new intelligent speed control system based on RFID technology and fuzzy logic control. The system uses RFID tags embedded in roads to communicate speed limit information to vehicles. A Hall effect sensor then measures vehicle speed, which is controlled by a fuzzy logic controller that adapts speed based on information from the RFID infrastructure and sensor. The system was empirically tested with promising results for maintaining appropriate vehicle speed according to changing road conditions.
