annual budget for equipment and logistical support. In the absence of the battery
Commander assumed commander responsibilities. As part of command responsibilities,
acted as shift commander for Haitian and Cuban refugee camp in Guantanamo Bay,

health and welfare and repatriation of a camp of over 12,000 refugees to their
homelands and the U.S. Other duties included coordination of media and meetings with
heads of state to include the U.S. attorney general, senators and other noteworthy
individuals.

combat deployments and one humanitarian mission to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 1992.

Desert shield and Desert Storm. Duties included field combat trauma treatment, triage
and medevac coordination, the daily health and welfare for up to 125 personnel while in
the field of combat and humanitarian and medical treatment of local civilian
populations in Panama, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq and the day to day operation of
base medical clinic in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to treat and provide medical care,
triage and evacuation as needed for Haitian and Cuban refugees.
