School to work transition
Kelsey needs a way to stay focused during a 12
hour shift because employees that are excited
to be at work are more productive and enjoy
being at work.

DO FEEL
At school you can act casually with both students and professors, and
working full time you cannot. There is a hierarchy and you have to be
more formal.
I had an internship so I had most of the training I needed.
Working for 12 hours each shift was very hard, especially at
nights. When I first started working I had trouble finding
things to do for that long.
I think she was comfortable in an relaxed
environment, instead of the stuffy corporate one.
I think she was well trained for her job, and as a result feels
confident in her abilities, and could do well from day one.
I think she doesn’t like working for extended periods because
it is hard to stay motivated for 12 straight hours.
I feel like creative work is best done when relaxed, and
technical work, the environment should be more rigorous
I feel like those who do internships WITH the company they
end up working for can thrive faster and longer, and grow.
I feel like there should be a way for people to reinvigorate
yourself after a few hours of work to increase productivity.
