Make an outline. Whether its in your head or on paper, you should have a checklist in mind, and follow it to the letter, and in order. Consider your materials. Dont take shortcuts, when possible, on the quality of your materials.
Follow your plan and dont deviate from it. Once youve assessed the job and come up with a plan, its usually best to stick with the plan. Delegate to the right people at the right times. Make sure your team is well-ordered. If one person is faster, put him or her on the part of your task that will take longest. If one person is more skilled and accurate, put him or her on the part of the task that is most critical.
Look over everything that has to be completed before you start. Now make a thorough outline of all the things that you need to do. If you have to use materials for your work, make sure they are the best or close to it.
Now that you have your plan laid out, make sure you stick to it unless it is absolutely needed to. If you are working with a team make sure everyone is up to date and know what they are doing. Make sure you present and finish the job very strong.
