Empathy map and statement

  1. 1. Its an exciting journey ahead. At least getting a masters would be something I think will be useful in my professional capacity as an educator. Perhaps, even a time of refreshing. Shares with friends and family. Gets a lot of encouragement along the way and established some close friendships too. Supportive family matters a lot to him and he is clear why he is pursuing his studies.

Needs a better way to manage his limited resources although he feels a sense of pride with the “mess” as it shows that some work is “done”.
  3. 3. It has been quite challenging as the demands are more than he can manage. Higher degree work requires a lot of focus and discipline. Always submitting assignment late. Most of the time, he is not sure if its bad time management or as he claims, tend to need more time to think before writing. Uncertain about coping with the expectations. Very apprehensive if he is able to cope with assignments. Hopes to have more time to dive deep into his reading- that’s a luxury. The “Oh Nos” Feel disappointed that he is not getting the kind of rich learning he was hoping to. At times, felt lost and felt like giving up. The challenges he face takes a toil on his family and personal emotional well being. Driven but felt that he is unable to cope, he struggles most especially with the assignments but am hopeful that miracle is always round the corner. Motivated to learn but struggle coping with demands Manage his time better with more discipline to think and write He takes a lot of pride in this journey and looks forward to the end goal.
