these are connections where you
connect what you are reading to
personal experiences or
knowledge.
EXAMPLE: A text for self connection I
made with the story Frozen. When I
watched or read the story for the first
time, I think about how I care so much
for my sister that I could sacrifice
everything even my own happiness
just for her to get the best for her life.
This is just like how Elsa treated her
sister in the story.
